Zee's P.O.V:

"Wake up." I shook Matt and he simply groaned waving me off. I shook him harder. "Wake up fuck head." I growled. He opened one eye and peered at me.

"This better be important dude, I swear to god."

"It is now please meet me in the kitchen In 5 and for the love of god try not to wake Hay." I repeated this process until I had woken everyone but Hay. It took almost fifteen minutes before everyone was gathered together. Jay being the last one to drag his ass out of bed.

"What the fuck dude?" Jay asked looking miffed.

"Sorry guys but this is really important. It's Hay's birthday on Friday and I want to do something for her. By then we will be in Italy which is a two night gig aka we get a hotel. I need everyone of you to help me." With that said they all sat and waited for me to give them their orders.

"I am going to try my best to find a venue, Padge and Moose, I want you to be in charge of entertainment."

"Baby we are the entertainment." Padge grinned.

"No, no we are all having a night off and enjoying ourselves."

"Okay, okay we'll get on it, I have an idea." Moose winked.

"Awesome, Jay I want you to help me, once I find a place we need to decorate."

"No problemo."

"And us?" Bolt asked.

"I need you guys to come up with a birthday song for Hay."

"On it."

"Thanks guys. You can all go back to sleep now. I'm going to make a start on finding venues." Everyone disbanded heading straight back to sleep leaving me in peace to find a venue. It's a good job I knew Italian.

We have been on the road non stop for the last fortnight and I was looking forward to this break as we arrive in Italy on the Thursday evening, we have a Gig on Friday off Saturday and a Gig on Sunday before we fly home to do a few more local dates to end the tour. Jay and I have not yet talked further about our situation but things have been okay between us. I mean of course there is some intention as none of us really know where we stand but I'm hoping to grab sometime with him while we sort decorations out, the main reason I chose to team up with him. That and we always did make a great team.

Three hours of calling around different venues and I finally found a place that was available at such short notice. I arranged to meet the manager Thursday evening, which means I need to go straight there when we arrive at the hotel, I will need help occupying Hay so she doesn't notice my absence. Maybe I can feign tiredness and slip out when she thinks I'm resting. I had a short time to think of something. I was just glad I found a venue. It is a Gothic/metal club called black hole.

Thursday evening soon rolled around and I set my plan in motion earlier that morning feigning not feeling well. So when we arrived at the hotel we checked in and I told everyone I was just going to sleep off whatever was wrong and hopefully be right as reign by tomorrow. I said my goodnight after reassuring Hay I was fine they all headed down to the bar. I gave them fifteen minutes to get there and get settled before heading out where I caught a cab and met with the manager of black hole Mr Campos though it felt strange calling him Mr when he looked as old as me. He was more than happy to help us out at such short notice. He mentioned he was actually a fan and was going to the gig tomorrow night.

"Really wow that is awesome. I'll give your name to the bouncer,you should come backstage and meet everyone. The least I can do as a thanks for helping me out on such short notice. But please no mention of the party it's a surprise."

"Really you'd do that for me?"

"OF course, would be a pleasure."

"Thank you very much."

"No thank you. Does that mean you are not working tomorrow night?"

"No, my night off."

"So who do I talk to about coming over tomorrow during the day to decorate?" He held up a finger to indicate for me to wait a second and he yelled something in Italian not even I could understand. A few short moments later a middle ages woman appeared by his side.

"My mother, she will take good care of you."

"Thank you." I then arranged a time to come over tomorrow and set up and paid before hurrying back to the hotel.

When I enter the lounge I caught Jays eye and he excused himself and followed me to my room.

"How did you get on?" I told him everything. "So how are we going to excuse ourselves from the group tomorrow?"

"That one is easy, I tell hay were going to get some alone time to talk about things like I've been wanting to do for the last two weeks." I slapped my hand to my mouth I hadn't meant to say all that.

"You have? Why didn't you say?"

"I dunno, a mixture of fear, no privacy and well... that's it really."

"Do you want to talk now?" He asked catching me off guard. I simply shrugged. "We might as well then you can relax and enjoy the party?" He had a point. I slipped my shoes off and sat on the bed cross legged.

"Okay let's do this."

"Do you want to start or shall I?"

"I will." I took a deep breath. "Despite everything I still love you and I would love nothing more than to fall into your arms and everything go back to the way we were, but it can't we are different people now. So on that note I do want to move past this and I think we need to start again."

"How do you mean start again?"

"I mean let's get used to being friends again and if or when we both feel it's right maybe we can take it a step further and so on. But for now we need to get used to being friends again."

"Okay that makes sense. I know I hurt you bad and I completely understand you need time and being friends again sounds great, I've missed you so much Zee as a friend as well as my girl. I'm just happy to have you back in my life at all." I nodded.

"So we agree? Clean slate and we start back at the beginning which is friendship?"

"Agreed." I smiled

"Good I'm so glad that's over." I took a deep breath and felt like a weight was now lifted and I liked it. I have no Illusions I knew this was going to take a lot of work on both parts but I felt like we owed it to ourselves to try.

"You wanna come down to the bar and just say you feel better?"

"Nah I'm going to take the opportunity for some alone time and get an early night."

"Alright, well I'll see you in the morning."

"Oh wait maybe you could plant the seed now. Like say to Hay that you are planning on taking me out for lunch to talk about things?"

"Good thinking batman, do I really have to buy lunch?"

"Yeah you do." I giggled

"Fine, see you in the morning."

"Night Jay." He exited my room leaving me alone with my thoughts.
