Zee's POV:

The last three week have been amazing. The bands fan base continues to grow with each concert we do. Things with Jay have been going well, or as well as they can go. The tension between us has subsided for the most part and we do our best to avoid anything that may run the risk of causing the tension to arise again.

We have now reached the US and are currently on our way to Florida to take part in the Mayhem festival which we are all psyched about.
"We will be arriving in about an hour." Lou the driver called to us. Hay and I exchanged a look and both hurried to get changed seeing as we were both in our lounging around clothes. Hay popped her iPod on the doc and pushed play. Metallica All nightmare long came on. I rummaged through my suit case to find something I wanted to wear. I settled on my black skinny knee-less jeans with my vengeance university over sized tank top which I wore a plain black vest top underneath. I slipped on my purple cons ran the straighteners over my hair and kept my make up to a minimum lining my eyes lightly and a lick of mascara. Hay settled on her black denim shorts with her iron maiden tank top she slipped on her black cons straightened her hair and done her make up the usual smoky eye shadow, lining her eyes lightly and a lick of mascara.
"He who makes a beast out of himself, gets rid of the pain of being a man" Hay and I spoke along with M Shadows as the song bat country came on as we made our way down stairs. Hay grabbed her iPod and quickly popped it onto the dock downstairs and we continue to sing along with Matt.
"Caught here in a fiery blaze, won't lose my will to stay. These eyes won't see the same, after I flip today." Then the air guitars came out. What we hadn't noticed was we had stopped and the guys had vacated the bus. We continued our rocking out session.
"Sometimes I don't know why we'd rather live than die, We look up towards the sky for answers to our lives. We may get some solutions but most just pass us by, Don't want your absolution cause I can't make it right. I'll make a beast out of myself, gets rid of all the pain of being a man." We sang into our invisible mics. That was until we heard laughter behind us. We spun on our heels and saw the guys from A7X watching us. Needless to say Hay and I turned every shade of red you could think of.
"Uh hi" I grinned like a buffoon feeling so flustered and wishing the ground would swallow me whole.
"Hey great air guitar." Zacky said with a grin.
"Ugh thanks, how long exactly have you been standing there?"
"Long enough." He chuckled.
"We thought we would surprise you, we know you girls are fans and thought we would introduce you to the guys." Jay said stepping forward.
"We're  surprised." Hay nodded. "I'm so embarrassed."
"Don't be," Matt said flashing his dimpled grin at us.
"So introductions. Hayden, Zetta, this is Matt, Zacky, Brian. Johnny and Arin."
"It's a pleasure to meet you. We've been hearing so much about you all." Matt said as they all gave us a greeting of some form.
"You've heard about us?" I asked shocked as we all took a seat
"Yes My heart, your hands is the talk of the town right now. Everyone's talking about you."
"Are you serious?"
"Check it out if you don't believe me." he said while pushing buttons on his phone before passing it to me. Hay scooted over to see also. There on the screen he had typed the band name into google a ton of results came up.
Kerrang said we were taking the world by storm
Metal hammer said they predicted us to be as big as maiden or Metallica
Hot new talent NME said.
"Holly cow, this is amazing. I mean I was aware we were getting a lot of following but this is..." I couldn't find the right words to finish my sentence.
"Hey! they are not wrong, we recently bought your album, you guys are amazing."
"Thanks." Hay and I said in unison.
"We look forward to seeing you live tomorrow." Syn added.
"Oh wow pile on the pressure why don't you. Avenged sevenfold will be watching us live." Hay chuckled.
"Don't see it like that then, were simply fans just like everyone else."
"Fans." I beamed. "That's so cool." Everyone laughed.
"Okay how about we all go grab a beer?" Moose suggested.
"Beer sounds good." I hop to my feet. "I need food too."
"There is a food truck on the way to the beer tent." Zacky informed me,
"Good" I grabbed my purse and we all headed out.

Hay and I grabbed a portion of chips to share and we headed to the beer tent.
"So are you guys on tour or doing a festival round or what?" I asked as we took a seat inside the tent.
"Were doing a few US dates then were going back in the studio for a bit to work on some stuff." Matt answered.
"Awesome stuff." I grinned before taking a sip of my beer.
"Are you guys staying the weekend?" Zacky asked.
"Uh I'm not sure. Are we?" I asked Jay who was sat opposite me.
"I think so, but we will have to leave early Sunday morning to make our next gig." I nodded.
"Sweet, we should hang then." Zacky replied looking to me. "We're  here til Sunday also." He added.
"Awesome." I smiled shyly.
"Come on let's show you around." Zacky said We got to our feet and they showed us there were a few game stalls, there was a Ferris wheel.
"Ohh I wanna go on the Ferris wheel." I announced. "Anyone wanna come on with me?"
"Zee your terrified of heights." Hay kindly reminded me.
"I know but I really want to try and get over it, plus I bet the view is beautiful from up there."
"Count me out, my feet will stay firmly flat on the ground." She shook her head.
"Come on, I'll go with you." Zacky said grabbing my hand leading me to the wheel and paying.
Once we got seated I pre apologize for any screaming or whimpering I might end up doing. I noticed M Shadows had dragged Hay onto the wheel too. I couldn't help but chuckle.
"Here" He gave me his hand, I took it "If you get scared just squeeze my hand." I nodded and rested our interlocking hands on my lap. The wheel set into motion and already my stomach was flipping out. "You okay?" He asked. I looked to him and nodded.
"Sorry, my palms are getting sweaty." He shrugged. We were nearing the top and I was right, the view was beautiful. "I bet this would be more beautiful at night all lit up."
"How about I take you back later and we will see?"
"Really?" He nods. "I'll hold you to that."
"Counting on it." he chuckled. We slowly ascended back down and it was over. "You okay?" He asked.
"Great, my legs are like jelly still but I'm proud I did it." I said as I stepped off. He wrapped his arm around my waist for support until my legs decided they were ready to support my weight again. "Thanks." I chuckled.
"You done good," "It's not easy to face your fears so you have every right to be proud."
"Thanks." I flushed red.
"Come on lets got get a beer in you." I nodded and let him lead me back to the beer tent where we found the others. Hay and Matt followed close behind.
"Ha! I see you got dragged on. How was it?" I asked her taking a seat.
"Scary but beautiful."
"Agreed. Zacky is taking me back tonight to see it all light up."
"Aww how romantic." I nudged her
"Shut up, it's not like that."
"Hun, look at him, he is totally smitten over you."
"What? You're insane." I glanced at Zacky who was talking to Johnny, when he spotted me he grinned. "I don't see it he is just being kind."
"Denial." Hay sang and hurried over to get us both a refill. I shook my head she was crazy.
We spent the entire day in the beer tent. It wasn't until it closed at 11pm did we then agree to take the party back to our bus. As we were heading toward the bus Zacky grabbed me.
"We'll meet you there." Zacky said
"Where you guys going?" Jay asked. I swear I saw a glint of anger in his eyes but I ignored it. Not my problem.
"To keep a promise." Is all he said before we headed back to the wheel.

Yet again Zacky offered me his hand. I wasn't as scared this time but I took it anyway. It did offer some comfort.
Once we reached the top I again was right, it was so beautiful lit up.
"Breath taking." I grinned.
"Isn't it." I looked to see he was looking at me. I felt my cheeks heat up.
"You stop it."
"Stop what?" I shook my head. Zacky chuckled.
On our way back to the bus Zacky laced his hand with mine. I was beginning to think Hay was right.
"Zacky?"
"Yeah." I wasn't sure what I was going to say, I just felt something needed to be said, so we both knew where we stood.
"I uh, I don't really know how to put this." I stopped letting his hand go We stood a few feet from the bus. We could hear music and laughter coming from inside.
"Have I done something to upset you?" He asked looking worried.
"No, not at all. It's just Hay seems to think you like me. Her exact words were you're smitten  with me."
"I do, I mean..."
"It's just I wanted you to know that nothing could happen between us, you know that right?"
"Of course, we did just meet today. Look I won't lie I felt an instant connection and so far I've enjoyed your company. I am not expecting anything Zee, I just want to enjoy your company. I would like to keep in touch.
"I did too. I need some fun in my life right now. I just needed to say something to be sure we were on the same page."
"Then fun is what we shall have." He chuckled and grabbed me by the waist puling me closer to him. "May I kiss you right now?"
"You may." I grinned and his lips came crashing down on mine, our snake bites lightly clinking against each other.
We were soon interrupted by the sound of the bus door opening causing the noise inside to be much louder and clearer followed by someone clearing their throat. I spun to see Jay with a pint in hand.
"What are you doing out here?" I asked.
"Fresh air." Is all he said.
"Come on lets go join the party." I said to Zacky leading him inside.
