Hay's P.O.V:

I was so excited about the wilderness overnight, I just wanted today to fly by so we could be on our way. Zee and I were having a relaxing day while the guys were out on the snow mobiles. Which we will be doing at some point but we just needed some girl time. First we were relaxing in the sauna.

"This is so relaxing, I always thought it would be horrible being so hot but it's really relaxing." Zee said as she lay down.

"I agree I had the same thought, but this is quite pleasant." I replied.

"So after this we take a long soak then I'll do your nails all festive and you do mine?"

"Sounds like a plan." I paused a moment. "Zee do you think we should like dress up a little for tonight?"

"Oh Is someone hoping to get lucky?" She giggled like a schoolgirl.

"I hope so, thing have been going great, but I don't really know where we stand so I thought maybe if I dressed up a little give him a little nudge and yeah maybe we could take the next step. Do you think that might be a bit pushy?"

"Nah, Matt doesn't seem it but he can be shy about girls when he really likes them, I think that sounds like a plan."

"What about you? Will you dress up too?"

"For who?" She laughed.

"Jay?" She scowled at me. "Come on you guys are vibrating with crazy chemistry. I wish you would just get on with it."

"He's gone in total reverse." She then proceeded to tell me how she made a move the day we left and he pulled away saying he feels she still needs time.

"Do you think you need more time?" She shook her head. "Then tonight is your chance to show him you are ready." I saw her ponder the thought then a smile crossed her face.

"Okay I will." I high fived her I was looking forward to tonight more than ever now, I just hoped I wasn't being pushy with Matt, I just really like him.

We had just finished doing our nails when the guys returned laughing about something, Turns out Matt was showing off on the snowmobile and he caused a huge spray of snow to go flying into Jay's face.

"I need to warm up." Jay said heading for a hot shower, as did Matt.

Zee and I proceeded to get ourselves made up. I rummaged through my suitcase to see what I had brought with me. Okay who am I kidding I planned ahead in case I got the chance to be alone with Matt. I packed a outfit for this very occasion. I packed my H and R London Vintage Drape dress. It's a black satin 50s rockabilly swing dress with a draped bust and a side zip fastening with a net trimmed underskirt. And I packed my Bordello heel which are black patent 50s rockabilly & pin-up shoe which has 3 buckle adjustable straps and 1.75" Hidden platform with 5.75" stiletto heel. To to it off and to keep me warm in this cold I bought a coat especially. I bought a poizen industries purple Alice coat. 3/4 Length fleece hooded coat which is fully lined with flared sleeves and heart shaped pockets, gathered hem, ribbon detailing and corseted back with a zip and button fastening.

I then get Zee to do my hair in a 50's rockabilly style. I do my makeup Silver smokey coloured shadow with cat's eye flick eyeliner and a lick of mascara to thicken and lengthen my eyelashes I use a 50's colour red lipstick and put a light coat of gloss over it.

Zee was wearing a spin doctor Amara mini dress which is a burgundy red with off the shoulder black lace sleeves and neckline with a sexy low back with zip fastening with embroidered lace around hem. She wore with that her bordello heels which were different from mine, hers are nude satin with black lace overlay with high Mary Jane buckle strap and a 1.75" Hidden platform with a 5.75" stiletto heel. For her hair she asked me to keep it simple so I gave it a light curl as opposed to her usual straight hair. I took a small front section of hair and pinned it back on both sides. She then finished her look off with a black woollen hat to keep warm. My hair style choice wouldn't allow for a hat, not without destroying the do so I would suffer the cold.

"Looking lovely girls." Matt said when we exit.

"Thanks." We said in unison.

"We better get going before they leave without us." Matt said offering me his arm. I accepted and let him lead me out the house. Jay done the same for Zee. What gentlemen.

The ride to the wilderness cabins was uneventful we were all in awe of the beautiful scenery, that was until it got too dark to see out the windows anymore.

We arrived at the cabins to be handed hot cocoa that was heated over the campfire topped with little marshmallows. We along with four other people (Two couples) sat around the fire. While we watched the staff at the lodge cook the entire meal over the fire. For starters we had Lohikeitto (salmon soup) which is a salmon, leek and potato soup, usually garnished with dill.with rye bread. Which was actually rather nice. I wouldn't chose to buy it but when in Rome... or more accurately Finland.

Next we had Korvasienimuhennos (mushroom stew). Which was as it says a mushroom stew served with potatoes and asparagus spears. I passed as I really hate mushrooms. And for dessert we had Vispipuuro (whipped lingonberry porridge) which is a cold, whipped porridge made with lingonberries and wheat semolina. Best served with milk and sugar. It was pretty good. It was all topped of with a glass of Glogg. Glogg is hot, spiced wine, perfect for cold winter evenings. I wasn't too fond of it if i'm honest.

Once dinner was over we got to explore the area. There were markers we were not allowed to go past for safety reasons. Matt and I took our leave after walking as a group for fifteen minutes. We found a lovely spot and I placed the plastic sheet down then the blanket we were given and we took a seat.

"I really hope we see the lights at some point tonight, I'll be super disappointed if we don't." I said.

"Let's keep everything crossed that we do then." Matt crossed his fingers. "You do look very beautiful tonight," "Stunning in fact."

"Thanks, I was going for stunning." I laughed and rested my head on Matt's shoulder, and he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me back so we were lying looking up at the sky. The night sky was so clear, I was hoping that was a good sign.

We lay there chatting casually about nothing much in particular when something caught my eye.

"Matt look" I pointed up to the sky. Matt followed my gaze. "Isn't it beautiful." I couldn't stop the smile spreading across my face, it really was the single most beautiful thing I had ever witnessed.

"Yeah, it's something alright." Matt gasped I looked at him to find he had a smile much like my own.

Noticing me looking at him his eyes fell on me. "What?" He asked I shook my head.

"Nothing, just enjoying this moment."

"I think I know a way to make this moment even more spectacular."

"Oh really how so?" The next thing I knew his mouth came crashing down on mine. It too my brain a second to register what was going on before I returned the kiss. I soon got lost in the moment and I was wrapped up in everything Matt.

Pulling away I smiled and I felt so giddy. "I've wanted to do that for so long now." Matt told me.

"Why haven't you?"

"I wanted that perfect moment, what is more perfect than this?"

"Nothing could be more perfect." I smiled. Matt leaned in and kissed me again.
