THE CAR parked at a huge house in a small neighborhood in Denver. Ariel looked at Kol in confusion, "How did you get this house?"

"Mikaelson family mansion I found," Kol informed her as he got out of the car. He then ran over to his girlfriend's side and opened the door for her.

Ariel and Kol took their small amount of luggage and brought it up to the front door step. Kol opened the door for them and she walked inside. As she set her stuff down, Kol came up from behind her and set her down on the counter.

"What are you doing? We have to unpack and find Jeremy," Ariel giggled as he left kissed on her face.

Kol pecked her lips and smiled brightly. "I'm alone with the woman I'm falling in love with, life is great right now."

She smiled as she brought their lips together. Ariel scooted herself closer to Kol so her legs could wrap around his waist. Her phone started ringing right next to her and Kol groaned against her lips. "Ignore it."

The ringing died down, but it went off again. "I'm sorry, but I have to take it."

Ariel gave him one last kiss before hopping off the counter and answering the phone. "Hello?"

"Ariel," Matt's voice was stern over the phone. "Where the hell are you? I woke up this morning and you weren't in your room, I then called Rebekah and you weren't there either. Please tell me you're alright."

She sighed as she totally forgot to tell Matt an excuse to why she would be gone for a couple days. "I wanted to get away for a while, I can't be in Mystic Falls anymore. Everyone wants to kill the Mikaelson family Matt! I can't live in a town with those type of people."

"That's why I'm against it," Matt stated, defending himself.

An image flashed through Ariel's mind; everyone was in the woods – including Matt – and they were training to kill the Mikaelson family. They all had white oak stakes. "You're such a liar Matt. I know where you are and what you're doing you ass."

"Ariel let me–" She hung up before Matt could explain himself. She slammed the phone on the counter and turned around to see Kol look nervous.

"I saw what you saw," He stated, clenching his fists. "I wanna kill them all."

Ariel shook her head and unclenched his fists. "We're not going to kill them, we're going to find a way to unlink all of you. You, Klaus, Rebekah, and Elijah will all be safe."

She didn't mention Finn at all since he did almost kill her. Kol breathed in deeply and nodded. "How about we take our mind off of things and go find Jeremy?"

It took a while, but soon Kol and Ariel came across a huge park and found Jeremy playing with a golden retriever. Ariel smiled when she saw her friend, "Jeremy!"

Jeremy's eyes trailed up and they brightened up when he saw his best friend. "Ariel, hey! What are you doing here?"

"I needed to get away for a while," Ariel said hugging him. "I also missed you."

Kol cleared his throat and the two pulled away from the hug. "Hello Jeremy, name's Kol. I've heard so much about you."

"Nice to meet you Kol," Jeremy shook his hand and then looked between the two. "Aw Ariel got herself a boyfriend!"

She rolled her eyes and slapped his arm. "Don't make me send you to hell, literally."

"How are you liking Denver?" Kol asked him.

"It's actually going really well," He said with a nod of the head. "I've made a couple of friends, but there's still a part of me that misses Mystic Falls."

"Well, how about we party tonight?" Ariel suggested. "Jeremy, you probably know some bomb ass clubs in Denver; lets go to one tonight."

"That actually doesn't sound half bad," Jeremy pondered on the offer for a few more seconds. "Alright, I'm in."

"Wonderful, Ariel and I will pick you up at 8."

All three of them walked into the night club where people were dancing and drinking everywhere. Kol compelled the guy at the front to let Jeremy in since he really couldn't pass as 21 and over.

"I'm going to get wasted, so text me when we're leaving," Jeremy yelled over the music.

Ariel nodded and Jeremy ran off to the bar; he was probably going to woo some girl to buy him drinks. Kol took the angel's hand and brought her on the dance floor. It was nice for the both of them to let loose and forget about all their worries. Ariel's eyes lit up a vibrant blue as she danced with Kol; the eyes of an angel were showing now.

The blue in her eyes didn't go away however, it stayed there and it wouldn't fade away. Kol noticed this and grabbed Ariel, bringing her in a bathroom. He locked the door and looked at her, "Why aren't your blue eyes going away?"

She looked in the mirror and tried to blink them away; that failed. Another image passed through her mind as she saw a person lit up in flames. The person was in a kitchen while two people she couldn't identify watched. Ariel then heard the dreadful scream of Kol's as he continued to burn. The brunette snapped out of the vision as her eyes returned back to normal. Ariel ran to Kol and hugged him. "What did you see now?"

"You were dead," She whispered. "You were on fire and someone killed you. What – What if this is foreshadowing? What if that vision was a vision to the future?"

Kol shushed Ariel as she continued to cry in his shoulder. "I'm not going anywhere darling. You are my life now, I would never leave you in any shape or form."

"I will protect you," Ariel stated. "No matter what."

After she calmed down, the two walked out of the bathroom and looked for Jeremy. They sighed as they saw him passed out near the bar area.

"I'll pull the car up," Ariel said as she went outside.
