ARIEL AND KLAUS had their differences; the two were like a feuding pair of a brother and sister. However, when she found out Bonnie's desiccation spell was used on Klaus, she broke down. He wasn't dead technically, but knowing the whole Mystic Falls crew fooled all of them again hurt her. She wanted to trust Matt's friends, but they kept giving her reasons not to.

"I wish I could've stopped it," Matt whispered as he sat with Ariel on the couch. "I know Klaus is like family to you now, but it's like 8-1; they won't listen to me."

She placed a hand on his shoulder and quickly glanced at Kol who was at the doorway. He hadn't taken the news very well. "It's not your fault Matt. It's just...I can't trust them anymore. Not even Jeremy."

"I think we should kill all of them," Kol spoke up as he pushed himself off of the wall.

Matt rolled his eyes. "We're not killing my friends."

The front door opened and Jeremy came running in. His eyes landed on Kol for a second before talking, "Ariel, Matt, I need you help."

Matt stood up immediately, wanting to help his best friend. Meanwhile, Ariel stared at Jeremy, remembering his face in the vision she had. Matt was at the door, waiting for Ariel to come along with them. She finally gave in and went over to Kol.

"I'll be back soon," Ariel gave him a soft kiss on the lips before walking out with the two boys.

Matt drove them to Jeremy's house so they could talk. All three of them sat on the porch as Jeremy explained how Alaric came up to him at the Grill. He was saying how Alaric wanted to make a deal with him: Klaus' body for having Elena live a happy, human life. He would kill every vampire so Elena wouldn't have to deal with almost dying.

"So what are you going to do?" Matt asked after he was finished explaining.

Jeremy looked back at the house before turning back to them. "What I want to do it run in that house, grab Elena, and get her out of here and away from all of this."

"Well why don't you?" Ariel questioned. "I'm not the biggest fan of hers so I would let you two do it, but she is your sister Jer and I know you love her very much."

"I would, but good luck getting her past all the vampires in there," Jeremy stated, making a point. "Even if I wanted to help Alaric...I have no idea where Klaus' body is."

Matt slowly looked up. "I do."

Ariel wanted to get away from everything. She wanted a breather. So, she was now in the woods for a late night walk. Jeremy and Matt had gone in the house to get Elena out of there, but Ariel didn't want any part of it. She didn't want to see the faces of the people who betrayed her.

Meet me at Wickery Bridge was what Rebekah's text read. Ariel was right by there, so she walked there in under two minutes.

"Thought Kol would be with you," The blonde smiled when she saw Ariel.

Ariel rolled her eyes and laughed, "I needed a break from everything for a while. Why are you here anyways?"
