Chapter 11: Lucas and Kami

This chapter is a flashback to this Lucas fellow. I first meantioned him in chapter 3 and 5. This is him and Kami, also to find out about in this chapter(mentioned in chapter 5)...

Reader's POV(Highschool self)

I walked into school with Shizuo, ready to get through my classes with the most perfect work I could. I was very nervous the test I had. I said bye to Shizuo and walked to my locker to get ready for class. Once done, I tried looking for Lucas, Kami, or Derrin. I looked through the students in the hallways until I spotted familiar blonde hair. "Lucas!" I called, trying to catch up to him. He turned and smiled, opening his arms for me. I ran and hugged him, pulling him into a kiss. "Ready for your test, princess?" He asked, wrapping his arms around my waist. "I'm pretty sure. I feel confident." I responded. "Good." He said, pecking me on the lips once more. "Ahem." I turned and saw Kami with a smirk, standing next to Derrin. "Hey, girl~." I chimed. "Hey, lovebirds~." She laughed. I rolled my eyes. "Der-bear, ready for our test?" I questioned, hoping he studied. I was always worrying over how he did in school. Most likely more than his mother ever did. That's how much I cared and I still do. "I think so. I'm glad you helped me study. I feel more confident now." He replied. "Yay! I knew you would! Anyway, I should get to class. Bye Der-bear, bye Kami~!" I cheered before turning to Lucas. "As for you..." I trailed off, pulling him into a long kiss. "I'll see you later~." I smirked before starting to walk away. "Yes you will." He smirked back, walking the other direction.

Still Reader's POV

As Lucas and I entered my house, we dropped our stuff by the door and headed to my room. Kasuka was out at the store, my parents were at work, and Shizuo was with Derrin. I sat on my bed and could not stop smiling. "How do you think you did on the test?" Lucas asked, walking towards me. "Really good~! I'm so excited for the scores~!" I replied happily, falling back onto my bed. "I'm so proud~." Lucas purred, crawling on top of me. "Lucas?" I asked. "Shhh..." Was all he said before kissing me deeply. I kissed back and wrapped my arms around his neck. He ran his hand up and down my side before moving his lips to my neck. He started kissing my neck... until his phone rang... I groaned as he got up and took out his phone. He looked at the screen for a second before saying, "I gotta get home. My mom wants me to help with dinner." He said before walking out of my room. I followed him out to the front door. "See you tomorrow, right?" I asked. "He nodded and pecked me on the lips before grabbing his stuff and walking out the door. I sighed and sat on the couch. Maybe Kami wants to have an anime marathon... I thought before heading to my room to change into some casual clothes. Then, I grabbed my phone and walked out the door. Kami's house wasn't that far from mine, so it only took a few minutes to get there. I knocked on the door, but got no answer. I rolled my eyes and grabbed the spare key from under the flower pot next to the door. Most likely listening to her music too loud again... I thought as I walked in. Of course, no one else seemed to be home except for Kami because her stuff was scattered over the floor. Her parents were always on business trips and she was an only child so she was pretty much always home alone. I figured she was in her room, so I headed there. I opened the door, only to regret it. There she was, half naked, right under the half naked body of my 'so called' boyfriend. I stood, frozen, with wide eyes. I just... couldn't believe it... Kami was my best female friend... tears came to my eyes before I burst into tears. "(Y/N), it's not what it looks like!" Lucas panicked, running over to me and trying to hold my hands. I pulled my arms away from him. "Really? Because it looks like you were about to FUCK MY BEST FRIEND!!! Or... at least I thought she was my best friend..." I said, looking down. "Come on, don't say that-" "WHY SHOULDNT I!?!? A BEST FRIEND WOULDNT STAB YOU IN THE BACK!!!" I screamed, interrupting Kami. "(Y/N), please..." Lucas tried, putting his hand on my shoulder. I jerked away from him. "DONT TOUCH ME!!!... Please... Just leave me alone..." I cried, running out of Kami's house. I ran all the way to Derrin. I knocked on the door and waited until Derrin answered the door. When he saw me crying, he panicked and pulled me into the house. I dragged me to the couch and sat me down. Shizuo came out of the hallway and walked over. When he saw me crying on the couch, his eyes widened. "(Y/N), what happened!? Who did this!? I'll kill 'em!" He said in anger. "L-Lu... Lucas... He w-w-was abo-out to do the n-nasty with.... Kam-mi..." I sobbed, laying down and crying into a throw pillow. "That asshole! I can't believe they did that to you!" Derrin growled. "I'LL KILL HIM!!!" Shizuo yelled. "S-Shizuo, no... I need a h-hug..." I sniffled. Shizuo laid down next to me and gave me a hug. There was a knock on the door and Derrin went to answer it. I sat up and looked at the door. Shizuo held me close to him and rubbed my back. I saw Derrin open the door, only for Lucas to be standing there. "What the hell do you want?" Derrin asked through gritted teeth. I had never seen him so angry. "I want to talk to (Y/N)." Lucas replied, looking at me. Shizuo's grip tightened a lot. "Shizuo, please. C-calm down." I whispered. He mumbled and apology and loosened his grip. "There's nothing to talk about. (Y/N), would rather not see your face ever again anyway." Shizuo growled, trying so hard to keep calm for my sake. "(Y/N)." Lucas said, looking at me with pleading eyes. "Lucas, its over. Have a nice life with Kami, since you seemed to want her more than me." I said before Derrin slammed the door in his face. I started crying more and held onto Shizuo while Derrin rested a hand on my shoulder.
