After arriving in my apartment, I  immediately took a shower and got dressed for work. I drove there and  focused on my work till hours passed and I finished my shift. And I got home feeling so tired. I fell asleep fast. 

I woke up from a call, it's 2:56 am on the clock, "who would call me this early? Damn it! I am so fucking tired." 
I answered the call and didn't try to hide the annoyance from my voice.
I discovered that it's a call it's from the hospital. 

"We have an emergency! There has been a collision of a bus and van and there are many casualties! We need to have more doctors. Please come as fast as possible. And I heard a scream and the line went dead." Toot toot... 

"Damn I need to get there fast!!! It sucks having to live far away from work. I really need to find a place near the hospital!!!" I said while hurriedly getting dressed. I went outside and locked my apartment door and drove as fast as I could to the hospital. 

I arrived at the hospital. "There are really so many casualties!!! I need to help!"

 I went and approached the nurse, "Hey, what's the situation?"

"We need you, doctor!!!! Hurry!!"

 And I hurried to the patient but the patient has lost so much blood because the wound has not been closed and stitched immediately. Other doctors are treating other patients and there's no one available. 

"Damn!! I need to stitch this fast!!! Before he lost too much blood and die!!!"I thought to myself as I started treating the patient. I finished stitching the wound but the heart beat suddenly stopped, "He's in shock from losing too much blood." I revived him using the defibrillator- an apparatus used to control heart fibrillation by application of an electric current to the chest wall or heart. 

I grabbed the pair of defibrillator paddles and placed it in the lower part of the chest, and in front of the heart.

 "Clear" no response from the patient.

I tried again for the second time. "Clear"

And with the third try, his heart started beating again. 

"Whew, that was fucking close!!! If I've arrived a little late, He would've died!!! I really need to find a place close to the hospital!!" I thought to myself.   

 Few hours have passed and we've treated all the casualties from the accidents. The hospital became quieter. "I'm so tired. And I went and sat down."

 And the nurse approached me. "Thank you, doctor. The patients have all been treated. We can manage now. You can now go home and rest doctor." The nurse told me.

"Ok thanks" I responded and I drove back home. "Whew! I'm so tired from work and driving!! I need to find a place near the hospital." I got my phone and search for a place near the hospital where I can stay. And then suddenly, my phone rang, Alex messaged me. 

It says: "Hey dude, what's up?Are you free next week? Wanna hang out with John and me?"

I just replied "Yeah" and kinda annoyed because why is John also with us? I thought he is pretty busy?
I gasped! "What's wrong with me? Why do I want to be alone and hang out with just Alex? I'm supposed to be happy because we can finally hang out together!!! What's with me?! Fuck!!" I slapped myself. 

Anyways, I need to go back on looking for a place where I can stay. 

After scrolling, I couldn't get Alex off my head. "Why am I thinking about him? Damn it!!! Stupid me!!!" 

Then I remembered Alex's place!!! "It's pretty huge and his condominium is just 1 Mile away from the hospital!!! Damn! That's why I'm thinking about him!!! His condominium is the answer to my problem. I hope me staying there is cool with him tho." 

Few days have passed and we hang out again with John. 

"Strange, I don't have fun like before. Maybe it's because I'm used to hanging out with Alex only. Yeah, that's it. Anyways, when we're alone I'm gonna ask him if it's ok to go and transfer at his condominium."

"Damn, why do I need to hide it from John? Maybe John might find it strange if two guys live together. Yeah, that's why he can't know."

After partying, John left first because he needs to get back from work again.

"John left at last! Now's my chance!"

I approached Alex and asked him:

"Hey Alex, do you live with someone in your huge condominium?"

"Nope, I'm just alone and I'm waiting for my future girlfriend to live with me there hahaha." He said

"Nice, I was just wondering if I can move at your place because it's the closest to the hospital and I would pay you rent. I'm gonna need to transfer at my apartment because it's so far away and I can't respond to emergencies straight away." 

"Yeah. Ok dude. You can stay for free, it's our duty to save lives and I would love to help my fellow doctor and best bud in need." He smiled.

 His smile is breathtaking, but I need to respond. 

"Focus Ken!!" I said to myself 

"Thanks, dude. I'm gonna pack my stuff and transfer here."I responded.

"Do you need help in transferring your stuff?"Alex asked

I would've said yes but then I remembered that he weighs so light and that's why I declined his offer. 

"No, I got this dude. Thanks. Gonna be back with my stuff at your condominium. " I replied

"Great. I'll wait for you there then." And Alex went ahead and we bump fists.
