Our guys' nights out have been frequent and this night was different. Our usual night out took a different route.
Usually, we will both get wasted at the same time when we drink and party at the bar. But this night, Alex got wasted first!!! He was fast asleep on the table at the bar.
"Hey, Alex come on dude why did you get wasted so fast!?" I joked to him and waited for his response. But I got no response at all. He was really knocked out. I got up and went closer to him to wake him up.
"Hey dude you shouldn't be....."
And I forgot what I wanted to say to him because I looked at Alex's sleeping face and I found myself staring at Alex's long eyelashes and attractive sleeping face and my heart skipped a beat for a strange reason. "What the fuck ??? Maybe this is the effect of the alcohol." I told myself. And I shrugged it off and pulled myself together and proceeded to wake Alex up. But it was futile. He really is out cold.
"Hey, dude come on. Let's go home I'll drive you home. Where do you live?" I asked him." And I put his right arm over my shoulders to support him up. As I lift him up, I was shocked by how light he weighs. He is lighter than what I've imagined he'd be. I was surprised.
"Urghh mmm" he groaned.
"What? I can't understand you!!? I exclaimed.
"My .... condo is just 1 mile away from the..... Phoenix hospital we're both working."Alex mumbled.
"Ok, I'll drive you there." I said to him but he was too drunk to respond and fell asleep again.
I then supported him inside my car and drove to the condominium. I found his condo pretty fast, parked the car and got his keys in his pocket and opened the door and I saw a huge place!
"This is not for one person!! This condo is pretty huge! So many people can live here!! Why is he staying here alone in this huge place?" I wondered to myself.
I put his arm again over my shoulders again and carried him in his room. I went and scanned the room with my eyes.
"Hmm,this is probably his room, this looks like a typical guy's room."
I gently laid him in his bed. He really is wasted. I smirked. I saw him up close and my heart skipped a beat!! "Damn it!" I cussed. "I am being weird again!!!" "Fuck!!! I failed to realize that I'm really drunk too. Damn!! Maybe I'm too drunk to drive back. I might fall asleep while driving. It's pretty dangerous. I can just crash here on the sofa. And I'll tell him tomorrow."
I exited his room and went in the living area and laid on the sofa to get some shut eye.
I woke up because of the blinding sunlight to my face.
"Oh, it's already morning!!!" And when I turned right, I fell on the floor.
"Ouch! Damn! I forgot that I'm not in my place!!!"
"Is he awake already?" I stood up and looked inside the room and I saw it empty. "Where is he?"
"Ken?" I heard Alex voice and I turned and when I saw him, I gasped.
