Meal

I started unloading all my stuff. I got back and forth from transferring all my stuff in the empty room with one bed.
After a  going back and forth a number of times. I'm finally done. "Whew! At last, I finished!" I said to myself.

 I saw the previously empty room filled with my stuff. "Great. Now I just need to unpack and organize this and I'm done". I started unpacking my stuff and organizing them. "Good thing there is a bed already."

Few hours have passed and I finally finished organizing my stuff. "Phew!! I'm so tired. I am so hungry. I need to cook but I don't know if he has ingredients and I forgot to ask for his permission. Damn!" I cussed to myself. 

I got my car keys and went outside to enter my car to find the nearest place where I can eat when Alex's car arrived. "Great timing!!" 

I waited for him to park his car till he got out of his car. 
I went to him and greeted him.

"Hey, Alex! Is your shift at the hospital already over?" I asked

"Yeah at last! I am so tired dude." Alex replied

"Have you eaten yet?" I said

"Nope, I'm too tired to cook so I'll just sleep it off. How about you, have you eaten? Want me to just order some pizza?" He said

"What? Does he always skips his meal and sleep it off? " I was angry. As a doctor, he should take care of himself!! 

"I can cook our meal if that's ok with you." I told him.

He was surprised. "Really? you know how to cook? Hell yeah! I don't really like cooking and I'm too tired to cook. So yeah dude you can cook. That's cool with me." 

And we both entered the condominium. He guided me to where the location of the ingredients and utensils are in the kitchen.

"Thanks, dude. I can manage now so you can just wait at the sofa." I said

"Ok dude. Thanks for cooking!!!"
Alex said as he exited the kitchen and went to rest on the sofa. 

I started preparing our meal. 

"He prefers to sleep it off! It's very unhealthy!! How can I call him a doctor!!! He is neglecting his own health!! "I found myself worried and angry at him. Yes, I am worried about him cause he is my best bud. Nothing else." I muttered to myself. I decided that I will cook for him as a repayment for letting me stay at his place for free. I vowed to myself. As I was drowned in my own thoughts. After a few minutes, the meal is ready. I started putting the food in the plates and went to the dining area. I placed all the dishes on the table. And looked for Alex.. 

As I turned right, I saw an astonishing sight. Alex is fast asleep on the sofa and he is so attractive that it made my heart skipped a beat again!!!
"Damn!!! What the fuck is this?:  I said to myself and I shook my head and shrugged It off. "These thoughts are plaguing my mind again! Damn it!" I then hurried to Alex and started waking him up because the meal I cooked might get cold already.

"Hey Alex, let's eat. The meal is ready."

Alex woke up, feeling groggy.
"He is cute. Damn! I should stop these thoughts!" I shook my head.

"Come on." I said.

And Alex stood up and said, "ok dude." And we proceeded to the dining area and sat. He sat facing me.
He looked at the table. "Wow!!! These looks delicious dude!!" Alex exclaimed. 

"Yeah and it tastes delicious too." I added. 

"Let's eat!!!" Alex said and he put a spoonful in his mouth.
"Dude this is really delicious!!! I didn't know you know how to cook!" He complimented me.

"Yeah, cause I live alone and I like cooking." I replied

"Hahahaha you are like a woman." He teased me while eating.

"Whatever dude." I shrugged it off and started eating too.

"From now on I will cook our meals. This is the only chance I can repay the favor I owe you for letting me stay at your place." I said to him. 

"Dude!! you don't really need to repay me, you are one of  my best buds!! But knowing that you can cook delicious meals, I can't reject your offer hahaha." And he went and got seconds. "This is really delicious!!!"Alex repeated. 

"Thanks dude!" And we finished eating. Alex ate everything I made. He is really hungry. 

"I am so full and I'm sleepy too." He yawned. 

"Ok, I'll also do the dishes. You are tired from work right?" Just rest dude.

" Thanks dude"  and he went inside his room which is across my room.
