Our last stop was Baskin Robbin's, in which I lead her in. I waved at the man behind the ice cream, Paul (yes, I can read his name tag), as if we were old friends. Which we are, I've seen him many times on my adventures to this ice cream shop. I showed him a 'one', then pointing at the cookie dough.

"In a cup, I assume," Paul joked, scooping me a large helping of deliciousness.

I nodded, then looked at Rain, mentally asking what she wanted. I mean, we have been spending an hour together, we must have a telepathic connection by now.

"Can I have one scoop of Rocky r..."

I cut her off, showing a 'one' and then pointing at the rocky road. I looked back at her, pointing at the cup then the cone.

"Cup," she said quietly, a smile plastered on her face.

And so, I looked at Paul, pointing at the cup. I paid and took our ice cream outside.

We found ourselves a park bench at the park not far from downtown. No one was there, which was a nice change from the busy streets. The quietness settled down us like a cozy blanket.

When we finally finished with our ice cream, she stood up abruptly, hand extended towards me.

"What is a Prom without any dancing?" she asked.

I looked at her, confused. There's no music.

She frowned. "Who says there needs to be music? Come on."

After she lead me to the middle of the grassy hill, she placed her arms on my shoulders, so I placed my hands on her waist.

"Alright," she looked me in the eyes, "You want a song, I'll give you a song."

Softly, she began humming "Once Upon a Dream" as we began swaying softly to the beautiful waltz. When she got to the part, "the gleam in your eyes," I took her hand off my shoulder and spun her under my arm. She laughed and continued.

"And I know it's true..."

We danced around the park, to the little duck pond, and under a huge tree. I never wanted this night to end.

"You'll love me at once,"

I felt so happy at that moment, the darkness hugging us close together. Her voice circled around me, filling my ears. I could die happy. I never wanted this night to end.

"I bet I can climb that tree," she led me to the base of the tree after she finished her song.

Taking off her heels, she gracefully jumped onto the lowest branch, swinging herself on top of it. Up she climbed until she reached a long, flat branch.

"Come on!" she shouted from above.

I followed her up the tree, dodging the leaves that scratched and smacked my face. She had her hand out, waiting for me when I reached the branch. With one mighty tug, I was lifted onto the branch next to her.

Far below us was the perfect view of the downtown area, the lights still bright and lively, people looking like ants wandering through the roads.

"This is so much better than Prom," she said, looking at the view below her. "Do you think so?"

I nodded in agreement. Especially the fish.

She looked shocked for a minute, glancing down at the bench where we left them. "Oh sweet Jesus, I forgot about them," she laughed it off. "I really didn't want to go to Prom. But I really wanted to do something with you."

She was looking at me now, her brown eyes twinkling.

"I love you too, Aiden."

That night, I laid wide awake, having too much on my mind. It was no use trying to sleep; that was one of the greatest moments of my life.

Suddenly, she was at my window. Literally, she was climbing into my room, still in her prom dress. I sat up, watching her take off her heels in a rush.

What are you doing here? I asked as she quickly unzipped her dress, letting it fall onto the ground.

With a dazed look on my face, I watched as she unclipped her bra, and stepped out of her underwear, leaving them both on the floor. I looked her up and down, absorbing every inch of her body as she climbed her way onto my bed, sitting on my legs, her face mere inches from mine. The moonlight seemed to make her face glow, her beautiful hazel eyes, glistening with life. The chilling night breeze blew her hair gently as if she walked right out of a fragrance ad. Her makeup, still intact from the wild night we had.

I want you to be my first, she replied, slowly, each movement emphasized with caution.

With her fingers wrapped around the helm of my white t-shirt, she pulled it off with one swift motion. In a hurry, I rolled off of the bed as she laid there, watching my every move as I made a clumsy attempt to pull off my pants. Finally, I climbed back on bed, crawling over her beautiful body, once again staring into her spirit-filled eyes. Her soft hands ran up my bare chest, her eyes fluttering across my body before locking with my eyes. She wrapped her hands around my neck, staring back at me. Gently, she pulled me towards her and our lips finally met.

Needless to say, this was the highlight of my night.
