This is super short and I don't even know what it is. It just sort of came to me while I was feeding the baby and I had to write it; it probably won't be updated as often as Together but I hope you enjoy it anyway!
'And where do you think you're going?' He mumbles sleepily as she sits on the edge of the bed.
'Home.' She replies and he shakes his head.
'Stay, Dems...' He says.
'I can't, Joe. I've already stayed way later than I should have. What if I'm pictured leaving here? Can you imagine the rumours that would start?' She asks.
'What? That we'd hooked up? I think you'd find that wasn't a rumour.' He replies and she groans.
'Joe! I'm not kidding... What happened was a one time thing; we can't go there again and no one can find out.' She says as he stares up at her.
'Okay... Okay, I'm sorry. It's far too late outside for you to be driving though. I promise I'll make sure you don't get pictured if you stay? I'll even sleep on the sofa if it makes you happy.' He replies and she glances at her phone; it's already past 3am and pitch black outside.
'I'll stay...' She says quietly and he nods his head. He smiles slightly and sits up with the covers wrapped around his waist.
'You don't have to sleep on the sofa... Just put on some boxers and pass me your tshirt.' She adds.
'Are you sure? I don't mind.' He asks and she nods her head. He quickly gets his boxers on and throws her a tshirt before climbing into bed. She pulls the grey tshirt over her body and lies down next to him.
'Will Mike be wondering where you are?' Joe asks as she turns to face him.
'Probably not... I told him I was at yours so he'll just think I've crashed on the sofa or something.' She replies smiling slightly.
'Are you sure you don't want me to sleep on the sofa?' He asks and she shakes her head.
'Stay here.' She replies quietly.

It's a little after 10am when Joe begins to stir; he rolls onto his back and stretches his arms out above his head.
'Demi...' He mumbles glancing to his right only to find her gone. Last night wasn't planned; they hadn't intended on sleeping together when they'd gone back to Joe's but something seemed to pull them together and before they knew it they were agreeing it should be a one time thing. Demi would always be his biggest regret. He fucked up when it came to her; he let her down by leaving her when she needed him the most and that was something he'd never forgive himself for. He was young and stupid; he didn't know how to deal with everything she was going through.
'Hey, sleepyhead... I made you toast.' Her voice says and he instantly glances up at her.
'I thought you'd gone.' He replies.
'I-I can go if you want? I just thought- I don't know... I'll just go.' She says placing the plate of toast on the table. He instantly grabs her hand and shakes his head.
'I said I thought you'd gone, not that I wanted you to go... I woke up and you weren't there.' He replies.
'I was hungry. You didn't have much in though so I just made some toast.' She says shrugging her shoulders.
'You okay?' He asks as she shuffles awkwardly from one foot to the other.
'Mmm...' She replies quietly.
'What's wrong?' He asks and she sighs.
'I broke your mug... I didn't mean it, it just kinda fell.' She replies watching as he begins to smile.
'That's it? Don't even worry about it... Come eat.' He says patting the bed beside him.
'You're not mad?' She asks and he shakes his head.
'Why on earth would I be mad? It's a mug, Dems. They're easily replaceable. I'll buy another today.' He replies shrugging his shoulders as he picks up a slice of toast. Smiling she climbs onto the bed beside him and reaches for toast.
'I'm sorry about the mug.' She says quietly. She places a soft kiss on his cheek before leaning back and taking a bite of the toast.
'Like I said, don't even worry about it. It's no big deal.' He replies smiling.
'What are you doing today?' She asks.
'Nothing really... Lazy day I think.' He replies and she nods her head.
'You're more than welcome to stay if you want.' He says and she sighs.
'I don't think that would be a good idea, do you? We already crossed the line last night.' She replies.
'Maybe another day.' She adds smiling up at him. He nods his head and reaches over to move some hair out of her face.
'I should go.' She whispers as she feels her body gravitating towards him.
'Mmm...' He replies quietly.
'We should stop.' She says; his hand spread across his cheek and their faces only centimetres apart.
'We should.' He replies.
