'Joe, I can't.' She replies as she smiles up at him from the sofa.
'Yes you can... Come on.' He says taking her hands and pulling her onto her feet. He wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her into him as he sways them from side to side. They're staying in a little cabin out in the woods where the nearest shop is at least an hour away. They've been here a few days and Joe has already seen a huge difference in Demi; she's so much more relaxed than she was back at home and she's not constantly looking over her shoulder for paparazzi. Her beautiful laugh fills the living room as he spins her away from him before pulling her back against his chest.

Leaning down he kisses her and smiles as she wraps her arms around his neck.
'I'm dreading going home later.' She admits quietly as she glances up at him.
'Wouldn't it be great to stay here like this forever?' He asks and she nods her head. She knows if people knew about them they'd think she was moving really fast, fuck she thinks she's moving fast sometimes, but there is just something about Joe that makes her feel so content, so safe. Maybe she'll end up brokenhearted like the last time or maybe this could be the best thing to ever happen to her.
'You and me against the world.' She replies quietly causing him to smile as he gazes down at her.
'How are you feeling about the media and that now?' He asks and she shakes her head.
'Let's not ruin the moment, Joseph.' She replies leaning up to kiss him.

'You'll need to decide what you're going to do at some point.' Joe says as Demi cuddles into his side.
'And I will, just not today.' She replies glancing over at the TV which is playing some random movie.
'What do you want to do today then? We've got three hours before we need to leave.' He says and she sighs.
'Nothing...' She replies.
'Are you hungry? I could make us food.' He says and she shakes her head.
'Can we just stay like this?' She asks causing him to smile.
'Of course we can.' He replies kissing the top of her head.
'Thank you for this weekend, Joe. I think I really needed to get away and clear my head.' She says.
'Anytime... What have you got on when we get back?' He asks and she shrugs her shoulders.
'Don't know. Italy, I think.' She replies.
'I'm heading out to Hawaii to see Nick but if you need to talk just phone me. I don't care if it's the middle of the night I will always be by my phone, okay?' He asks and she nods her head.
'You really are amazing.' She replies.
'And you really are beautiful.' He says causing her to smile.
'You should do that more often, it suits you.' He adds tapping his finger against the tip of her nose.
'Mm... Maybe I will if you keep being like this.' She replies.

'Hey... How was it?' Mike asks as Demi makes her way into the house pulling her suitcase behind her.
'Hi, good. Really good actually, just what I needed.' She replies grinning as she lifts Batman into her arms and kisses the top of his head.
'You look a lot more relaxed.' He says and she nods her head.
'Yeah? I feel it. We were in this little cabin out in the middle of nowhere, it was fantastic.' She replies following Mike into the living room.
'What did you get up to? In fact, I don't think I want to know.' He says and she laughs.
'We watched movies and ate food.' She replies.
'You all set for Italy then?' He asks and she shrugs her shoulders.
'I'd rather still be at the cabin but I don't have much choice do I?' She replies causing him to sigh.
'Things will get better, Demi. They'll have another story by next week and you should just stay off social media.' He says as Batman snuggles into her.
'I'm kind of past caring, if I'm honest... I'm so over everything I say either being twisted or leading to me being ripped apart for it. I'm just going to enjoy life and if I decide to release more music in the future, I'll release more music... If I don't I'm quite okay with that as well.' She replies.
