'Danielle had the baby...' Joe says as Demi rolls over and rests her hand on his chest.
'Yeah?' She asks and he nods his head.
'Valentina; she's absolutely beautiful.' He replies causing her to smile.
'Lovely name, you going to go visit?' She asks and he nods his head.
'Probably when they get her home...' He replies.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
'Do you two want some food?' Mike asks peeking his head around the door causing Demi to glance at Joe.
'I could eat.' He replies shrugging his shoulders.
'Please.' Demi says nodding her head.
'Pizza okay?' Mike asks and Demi nods her head.
'Pizza sounds great.' Demi replies. Smiling Mike leaves the room and Demi turns back to Joe.
'You okay?' He asks and she nods her head.
'The clinic phoned earlier.' She says as he gently runs his finger down her cheek.
'Yeah? Everything okay?' He asks and she shrugs her shoulders.
'They don't think I'm ovulating regularly.' She replies.
'So what does that mean?' He asks and she sighs.
'It could be harder for me to get pregnant if we decide in the future to have kids, I might not even be able to get pregnant.' She replies, tears filling her eyes.
'Oh babe, I'm so sorry for going on about Kevin and Dani.' He says wrapping his arms around her waist.
'It's fine. I mean I always knew there was a chance I might not be able to conceive.' She replies.
'Look, we'll look into this. If, and I don't want you to think that this impacts our relationship, we decide to have kids in the future we'll work something out.' He says kissing the top of her head as she wipes her eyes.
'You should've woke me up.' He adds and she shrugs her shoulders.
'You looked so peaceful. I was fine until I said it out loud there.' She replies cuddling back into his side.
'We'll get through this.' He says and she nods her head.
'I know.' She replies quietly.

'Are you okay?' Joe asks as Demi rests her head against his shoulder.
'Mmm... Just thinking.' She replies quietly. She takes a sip of her coffee before glancing at Mike who's still eating his pizza.
'I've not spoke to my mom in ages and I hate that they can't just be happy for me.' She admits biting her bottom lip.
'Why don't you go phone her? I don't want to come in between your relationship.' He says and she shakes her head.
'I shouldn't have to keep you separate from my family. I understand why they're unsure of the relationship but they should accept that I am happy.' She replies causing him to sigh.
'Just go phone her, Dems. You've had such big, scary news today; you need to talk to your mom.' He says and she hesitates before nodding her head.
'Okay.' She replies quietly. She kisses his cheek before quietly making her way upstairs and quickly dialling her mom's number.
'Demi!' Dianna says.
'Mom...' Demi replies, her eyes instantly filling with tears at the sound of her mother's voice.
'Is everything okay? Have you been crying?' Dianna asks and Demi sighs.
'Everything is- No, everything isn't okay.' Demi admits.
'Is it Joe? I knew he'd hurt you in the end.' Dianna says.
'No, it's not Joe. He's actually the one who thought I should call you.' Demi replies.
'What's wrong then?' Dianna asks.
'I've had some tests done, fertility tests. I just wanted to be prepared and know what I'd be facing if I ever wanted to have children...' Demi begins.
'Are you pregnant? I swear to god if you are pregnant, Demi...' Eddie says in the background.
'No. I'm not pregnant; I might not be able to get pregnant but I guess in your eyes that wouldn't be such a bad thing.' Demi replies unable to stop the sob which leaves her mouth.
'Oh sweetheart... You know that's not true. Dad didn't mean what he said. Speak to me, tell me more?' Dianna says.
'I-I went for tests and they originally told me that everything looked okay but they'd need to do some blood tests or something to be sure... They phoned earlier and said they didn't think I was ovulating regularly and I'll need to go for an in depth ultrasound. I might not be able to have kids or I might find it really difficult to get pregnant if I try.' Demi explains using her free hand to wipe her cheeks.
'Oh sweetheart. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. Do you have someone there that you can talk to?' Dianna asks.
'I've got Joe. I know you're not happy about it but he's been amazing, mom. Not even just with this; when the whole issue with Taylor Swift was going on he was there. He took me away to a little cabin in the woods just so I could clear my head and think about things.' Demi replies causing Dianna to sigh.
'I know. It's hard to accept when he broke your heart the way he did, Demi.' Dianna replies.
'But I love him, mom. I really do and I don't doubt for a second that he loves me. You don't realise how hard this is for me; I don't want to have to keep you all separate like I'm living two lives.' Demi admits.
'I'll speak to your dad. I can tell that you're obviously serious about this... Just know that if it ends badly this time there will be no more chances for him; he won't be welcome in our family.' Dianna says.
'I know.' Demi replies quietly.
