Jess's POV
"Uhhhhhhhh."
I opened my eyes to see nothing but intense light. When my eyes began to adjust to the bright place, I noticed I was now in a tight enclosed room. Moldy, humid air hung heavily along the black stone walls. I tried to move my hands to block the light, but I couldn't lift them, mostly because they were chained to the wall, which I soon found out. To make matters worse a faint ringing noise started to grow inside my head. Suddenly, one of the stone walls started moving. I realized that is was a hidden door instead of a wall. Two large figures stood at the threshold blocking the exit. Behind them was nothing but more dark, stone walls. They carried a large lump into the room and chained it to the same wall that I was attached to, and it was then that I realized that the lump was a person. Before I could get a good look at it, the faint ringing noise grew even louder and more painful in my head. As the two figures left, the sound grew bigger and bigger wrapping around my head. Squeezing it tighter and tighter until I couldn't take it anymore. The room began to spin a bit as well. A scream left my throat as I dug my nails into my skull.
The lump stirred at the sound of my outburst. As it lifted it's head up, I noticed it was a she. She looked about the same age as me with long, dirty blonde hair that was matted into knots. Her beryl blue eyes darted around the room then landed on me. Fear showed on her face.
"Who are you?" she croaked.
"Who are you?" I shot back.
"I asked you first." she snapped.
"Fine. I'm Jess." I answered, "Now who are you?"
"I'm Aqua." she said, "Do you know what this place?"
"No clue." I replied.
Suddenly, the hidden door slid open showering dust on the person who entered. A tall, skinny man rode into the room in a motorized wheelchair. He had grey blue eyes that looked at me with fascination as if I was a science experiment. He had a long nose, but straight teeth in his sunken face and was wearing a white lab coat that rested over his droopey, bony shoulders. The first words that came to mind when I saw him were fragile and tired.
"I am Dr. Sharm."
"Why did you bring us here? What have you done with my sister and parents?" I shrieked.
"You have many questions." he observed, "I will answer one. I brought you here because of your gifts."
"What do you want with them?" asked Aqua.
"Well, I'm glad you asked that. I'm going to take these gifts of yours and I'm going to use them for my own special purposes."
"Like what?" Aqua asked.
"To take over the world of course." he shouted towards the ceiling.
"Who are you shouting to? We are right here. Also that's a very overused phrase." I said having enough of this shit.
"I wish that bomb I had Mr. Ophile plant into your TV had killed you as well." Sharm mumbled.
He's lying. They could still be alive. They could still be alive.
"Why didn't you take my parents as well?" I growled.
"That's not important. I will be back in one hour to take you to the lab." he shouted as the rock door slid shut behind him.
"Ugh great. Another Dr. Welles." Aqua mumbled.
"Is that Flash you're referencing?" I asked perking up a bit.
"Why yes it is. You watch it too?"
"Oh my god yasssssss. And I don't know about you, but now I'm just waiting for him to wheel back in here and interrupt our conversation."
"He does that so much in the show!" Aqua agreed.
We were silent for a few minutes, waiting for him to pull a Welles, but sadly he did not. Our conversation died after that and the room went silent again. Both of us were busy with other things: I had staring at the door hoping for it to open again on my schedule and Aqua had to pull at her chains. While she was looking down at her hands, I took that opportunity to study her more closely. She looked weak and pale as is if she was about to pass out from dehydration. Meanwhile, I was feeling a bit better because my headache and ringing ear thing had gone away. About an hour later, we heard a slight click and light poured in through a little shoebox size hole in the wall Aqua and I were leaning against. Two glasses of water emerged from the hole. Thankfully, the people who chained us up were thoughtful enough to put us close enough to the hole so we were able to get to the drinks. Aqua immediately grabbed a glass and gulped half of it down. Then, she placed it next to her chains out of sight from the camera in the room and started staring at it. She looked as if she was debating in her mind on whether to drink the rest or not.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"There's a reason they call me Aqua." she whispered as she kept staring at the glass which was now shaking.
Unexpectedly, a small gush of water rose a few inches out of the glass and carefully landed onto Aqua's chains behind her unnoticed by the camera. The water began moving violently back and forth over them. Surprisingly, after a few minutes they broke. She then, pretended that her hands were still chained to the wall.
"What are you doing?" I whispered.
    "Breakin' out." Aqua said.
