Jess's POV
"Are we clear on the plan?" asked Aqua.
"Yeah. Just give me a sec. I need to break out of these chains." and then impulsively I sang, "Try to break the chains but the chains only bring me down." I sang very off key.
"Just free yourself." Aqua begged.
"Yup." I agreed remembering how much I too hated the song because it was so over played.
I vibrated my molecules (Which means that I phased through the handcuffs.) and the chains swung back to the wall behind my back. My mom had taught me that skill about six months ago and I have only mastered it enough to the point of passing through small objects, nothing as extravagant as a wall.
Mom. I wonder where she is right now. She can't be dead, she has freakin super speed. Neither could Dad. Sharm's a liar. They must have gotten out alive. They must have.
I could feel tears brimming my eyes.
Just shove all of this shit to the back of your head and we'll deal with it later. You've got more important things to do than just sit here and cry your eyes out.
    "Ready?" asked Aqua looking concerned.
"Yeah." I said wiping my eyes.
"Alright. One. Two. Three." Aqua whispered as the camera moved away from our direction.
Aqua quickly made what looked like a golf ball sized raindrop from her glass of water. She then, threw the water ball at the camera and luckily, she hit it dead on and short circuited it's power. Soon after, we heard the sound of heavy footsteps echoing down the hallway. Aqua nodded to me and then vanished. In case you haven't caught on, Aqua can turn herself invisible. The stone wall flew open showering dust on four guards that ran into the room. Dark goggles were tightly strapped around their faces, which were all in a serious, soldiery state of manner. They had black army fatigues with a symbol of a cobra on their left shoulders.
"Stay where you are!" one of them shouted at me as they moved around the cell.
I saw a grenade float out of one of the guards pockets and I took that as the signal.
"Stay there." the guard repeated.
I shrugged, "I don't feel like it."
The guard raised his hand to slap me, but I bolted out the cell before his fingernails could even come near my face. Aqua pulled the pin off of the grenade she was holding and threw it into the room as I closed the door, using the control panel on the side next to it.
"Hey!" one of them coughed as the knock out gas emitted by the grenade weakened her.
We sprinted down the hall glowing with excitement and thrill. Boy what a rush that was. Adrenaline was pumping through my veins causing my hand to shake rapidly.
"Any clue where to go?" Aqua asked.
"No." I replied, "Wait. Look." I pointed towards a room labeled security room.
"Well that's convenient." said Aqua.
"I know right? It's as if the author didn't know what else to write." I said as we ran to the room.
The security room was a small place with several TV's surrounding a swivel chair and curved desk. The TV's (whaddya know) were showing images of prison cells similar to mine. Next to them was a map.Turns out that we were only in a small warehouse out of five warehouses that surrounded one giant building. The building had four labs, an armory, twelve offices and a giant cargo hold.
"Why isn't anyone in here?" asked Aqua.
"Must have fled when we broke the camera." I concluded.
"Jess. Come look at this!" Aqua said as she waved me over to the TVs.
My eyes followed where she was pointing to see two figures chained to the wall like we were. As I looked closer at them, I realized that the figure on the right was my sister, Sarah. While observing the screen for clues on where she was, I saw on the lower right corner of the screen 2A. I opened the security room door a crack and looked through it at our cell door. On it said 1A. Looking back at the map I realized that all the warehouses were numbered and the cells were labeled with letters.
Aqua soon caught on to this as well.
"Grab the map we need to see if there are any others here or if it's just us four." I said.
We watched the screens waiting for them to change to the next inmate. After thirty seconds, the screen changed. It had two more people in it. Aqua quickly grabbed a nearby marker and put a check in the cell and warehouse they were in. She did this for my sister's cell as well. Then, when the screen change, she checked off the corresponding cell. Every time she checked a cell off, she would immediately look at the screen and stare as if the news was going to come on and reveal some big announcement.
"So, uhhhhh...whatcha looking for?" I asked.
"My sister." she answered softly.
I saw her eyes blink back tears as she tried to compose herself.
"Hey, I saw my sister. Plus, it's hard to make out who people are on the TVs." I assured her.
"Then how did you recognize your sister?"
"Because. She was sticking her middle finger up at the camera. I would recognize that finger anywhere." I said.
She smiled, "Let's go to your sister's cell first."
"All right then. She's in 2A."
After we checked the surveillance footage for guards in other hallways, Aqua vanished and I followed behind her silently. The annoying thing about being quiet was that people could hear you running down a stone, echoey hallway, so we had to tiptoe to Warehouse 2. This sucked ass because tiptoeing is slow as hell and I don't do slow.
We strided through several boring, identical hallways, all of which had dark limestone walls with fluorescent lights hanging every five feet from the low ceiling. Each warehouse was connected to another one by a chain of hallways so it wasn't that hard to find our way. Finally, after a millennium of tiptoeing (two whole minutes) we reached the door to Warehouse 2 where a man in the same uniform as the other people we encountered stood at attention guarding it. Aqua, while invisible, walked right up behind and grabbed his taser while I hid behind the corner. She then turned visible and tapped his shoulder. Tapped it!
"Is this your taser?" she asked.
He turned around to face her looking half startled and half confused. Then, she thrust the taser into his chest and he crumpled to the ground.
"Next time I get to knock em' out." I said with a grin.
    "Fine. Let's grab his weapons."
We unlocked the door using the guard's key after hurling a shoe at the camera above it. I opened the door a crack and tossed a knock-out grenade in. We waited a couple of seconds for the warehouse to become silent once again and rushed in. Warehouse 2 looked exactly like ours except they had a cappuccino machine in their break room. We quickly disarmed the passed out guards, made sure none of them were conscious and then went to cell A. The door was locked (Of course because nothing in this world can be easy!) by a passcode.
"Now what?" Aqua asked in an exasperated tone.
"I know how to unlock it." I said.
"How? Are you some kind of code cracker or something?"
I walked up to the keypad and typed a combination in.
"One two three? Seriously?!" said Aqua looking over my shoulder.
"I had to try."
"I wouldn't guess." came a voice from inside the cell, "If you get the password wrong two more times then you will most likely be electrocuted.
"How do you know that." I asked.
"I recognize the type of lock from the sound it makes." the person replied.
"Okay then." I said, trying to make sense of that last comment, "I've got another idea. Stand away from the wall." I yelled.
I backed up to the door of the warehouse which was a good twenty feet from Cell A. Taking the position of an olympic track runner before the race would start, I mentally prepared myself to go at my top speed and then I took off. As I neared the wall, I increased my speed and closed my eyes. A slight swoosh sound whistled through my ears as I saw black all around me for a time shorter than the blink of an eye and I was in the cell. I quickly stopped running, but I skidded into the opposite wall.
"Owwwwwww. Wow. I did not think that would actually work." I said as I rubbed my shoulder on the floor.
"How did you do that?" asked the person who I was talking to before.
"Do what?" I groaned.
"Go through the wall. How did you do that?" she repeated.
"Oh. I uh can vibrate my molecules if I go at an extremely fast speed." I said casually.
"I see." the person replied.
After my eyes yet again adjusted to the light, I noticed that their cell was exactly like mine with the same blinding, shitty light. I looked up and saw a girl a little taller than me with emerald, green eyes and short, light brown hair. She was wearing jeans and an unraveling sweatshirt, which were now singed and a Star Wars t-shirt that surprisingly was not damaged at all. Her face shown with solemnity as she stared down at me, offering no help or concern for my shoulder.
"I am Emma."
"Jess." I grunted as I slowly helped myself up.
Suddenly, I was pushed against the wall again.
"You're alive!" Sarah shouted as she hugged me.
She had a huge bruise on her forehead, but other than that she looked fine. I looked at Sarah's neck. Around it was a large, black thick band with blinking red lights.
"Nice...collar?" I said.
I noticed that Emma had one too.
"They keep us from using our powers." Sarah explained.
"I am assuming based on the amount of affection she is giving you, Jess that you two have already been acquainted with each other?" Emma said in her same monotone
I made a confused face towards Sarah.
"Yeah, she has been like that this whole time. She wouldn't even laugh at my jokes and you know my jokes are hilariously dirty."
"Laughing is not called for at a time like this." Emma retorted.
"Have you ever laughed in your life?" Sarah asked Emma.
"That is not important information. Nor is it ever. You do not need to know anything more about me others than my name and even that I do not trust you with."
"Alright, Miss Sunshine." Sarah mumbled but just loud enough for Emma to hear.
"I don't think you understand. I am not trying to be friendly to you." Emma attempted to clarify.
"Jesus Christ. This is what I have been dealing with for the past half an hour." Sarah said throwing her hands in Emma's direction.
"Now, am I correct? Have you two met before?" Emma repeated.
"Unfortunately. We're twins." Sarah mumbled.
"I'm assuming you're not identical twins as you do not at share any similar resemblances of the other." she noted.
This was true. Sarah had eyes that were an electric blue (No. No. She just had regular light blue eyes you weirdo. Not all of their names and appearances have to do with their abilities...except for Aqua...and possibly some others. Shut up!) I had hazel eyes and was the taller one. Though we both had brown hair, Sarah's was longer and closer to black while mine was a bit more milk chocolaty with.
"Thank you." we said in unison.
"Now, how are we going to get out of here?" said Sarah.
"First, our collars must be removed. Then, Sarah should use the electrical powers she supposedly has to short circuit that security camera." Emma ordered.
"Supposedly?" Sarah asked now offended.
To take their collars off Emma suggested I use my phasing skill to power them down that way. Luckily, this worked. However, my small victory was short lived for right after we heard Aqua shouting from outside the cell.
"Guys. I think you waited too long!"
Immediately, the door slid open revealing ten guards heavily armed with guns standing at the door with a pissed off Aqua wearing a collar.
"Put your hands on your heads and get on the ground now!" one of the guards shouted.
"On the count of three you unleash whatever you've got." I whispered.
Emma and Sarah nodded.
"One. Two. Three!"
I bolted into the group of guards who fired at me. My force field deflected their bullets. Sarah shocked a couple guards with what she liked to call her taser hands. But Emma did the coolest thing. She lifted the rest of the guards up and slammed them into the ceiling and then dropped them. The cool part of this was she did it all with her mind
"Sick!" I said.
"If you are sick then you should just stay behind so you won't slow the rest of us down." she said coldly, showing an emotion for the first time.
"I used sick as a compliment in that sentence and you would leave me behind? And also SLOW? I am not slow." I growled.
"Sarah there is a camera behind you." Emma warned ignoring my outrage.
Sarah quickly threw another lightning bolt at the hallway camera.
"Where too?" asked Sarah.
"Uhh. Let's look at the map." said Aqua as she pulled it out of her ripped shorts pocket.

Will Emma ever understand sarcasm?
Will they run into someone with clothes that are still intact?
Sorry. Don't really have that much to say. Don't really know how to write these things.
Will I ever find out how to do this end part?
