[Sid's pov]

"Juhu maritime beach is getting polluted!" 

Wah! I said it finally. 

*claps hard sarcastically*

"IKR! You look so concerned, any campaign ?" she asked.

Ok! I wasn't supposed to say that!

"No..eh.. I mean even though its getting polluted, I love the calmness the place assures. The waves hitting the shore, the spicy yum pani-puri stalls, candy floss bhaiyya's , the double scoop flavoured ice-cream vendors...I simply love them!" 

"Cool are you into writing an article or something ? Cause you way too much know the feels of a beach" she giggled.

"I've explored the beach with buddies before, but now I wanna explore it with someone special, who can make the memory all the more beautiful." 

"Why don't you take Oscar with you ? He surely holds a special place in your heart!" she chuckled and I mentally slapped myself! 

Why can't I get straight to the point ?

"Alia, do you trust me ?" I asked with a sigh and a hope flickered in my heart. 

But what scared me to death was the result.

SILENCE

"Al..alia ? You're there right ? Are you angry? Please speak! Your silence is making me crazy" I kinda yelled it. 

"Yeah..I'm here. Its just that your question caught me off guard." I heard her take a deep breath and continue 

"Yes! I trust you, with all my heart. Please don't stress for an explanation cause I myself don't know" 

Hmm... a tiny smile spread on my lips as I realized that we both sailed on the same boat.

"So, do you trust me enough to take you on a DATE to Juhu Beach, today 5 in the eve ?" 

I realized that I was sweating in an air conditioned room.

Keh diyaa bhaiyon-beheno!

It's not like I've proposed her or something, so don't jump and scream shippers, I can hear y'all !

"Ok! see you there. Bye malhotra!" and BAM. 

She cut the call but wait, she said 'YES' for the date too!

How did I got so lucky ?

[Alia's POV]

"Oh my gosh. OhMyGosh. OHMYGOSH. YAYYYY !!! " 

I screamed the hell out of my lungs while popping up and down on my bed. My sister, mom and bff Akansha rushed to my room to catch a glimpse of me going all haywire. I was doing all sorts of monkey dance. 

While they part shocked, part enjoyed the 'LIVE ALIA BHATT CRAZY SHOW', thanks heaven, I jumped down to the floor to covey them the reason behind my over excitement.

"Do you know what just happened mom?" I asked shaking her wildly with my eyes ready to pop up any second. 

My mom shared a "oh-this-was-it" look with the other two most important girls of my life and looked back at me with a full blown smile.

"He asked me for a DATEEEE ! Can you just believe it? F**king SIDHARTH MALHOTRA, that reserved and shy but andar se kameena plus sweet not to forget gorgeous ladka, finally asked me OUT! I'm wondering how the hell did he got his guts back! Isn't it too unbelievable ?" I asked them while giving a complete demo of 'Insta Twirl App."

"So ? What's so unbelievable about this ?" My sister asked with a duh tone, arms crossed across her chest, looking at me. 

I gave her a "what-was-that-meant-for" look.

"Is that all you could say ? Aren't you like astonished ?" I cannot believe they are acting so normal. This is nowhere close to normal.

"What's there to not believe ? We already saw this coming. It was you who was blind to all those looks he gave your way madam!" akku said in her highly flopped British accent. 

I turned crimson at her bold statement.

"Aww.. look at her, a potato looking like a riped tomato" cooed Pooja from behind, entering my room to see the commotion.

"But where is he taking you ?" asked Pooja like a true protective sister.

"Juhu beach " I relied nonchalantly. Still in a dreamy world.

"Wahan kaun jaata hain for a date ?" she asked this time with an amused expression.

"Arey bhai Sid ne bulaya hai. Kuch toh socha hoga na" defended akku.

"Stop it you guys and tell me how to look impressive on my very special date" I changed the topic to a very relevant subject.

GETTING READY

"All yours ma'am! We, at your service" said akku with a mock salute. We chuckled at her excitement. 

Before I knew, I was pushed inside to take a bathe and after my bath, the girls beehived around me to make me look "Alialicious" , that's what they said.

[Sid's POV]

The first person on my mind to inform the news was Abhishek Varman. I needed to tell him about my date. He was the only people among the lot, who knew to keep things to himself. Others were too much for Pinkvilla site to hire! 

Tring, tring.... his number was ringing.

"Listen bro, I gotta tell you something special and very important. I'm taking alia on a beach date to Juhu, today 5 eve." I was straight forward, finally!

"Really ? What made you decide ?" he asked with amusement but some sort of unsure emotion clouded his voice.

"Just went with the flow bud. What do you think ? I'm doing alright na ?" I asked with much anticipation. 

His advice meant a lot.

"Yup! Go ahead. Convey your feelings to her as soon as possible and be rid of your burden. Have a great day brother" He genuinely wished and hung the call. 

But I bet that I did notice a wave of a different emotion in his voice. 

As if he sounded unsure.

NOTE : So finally a little suspense and thoda romance ka aarambh as many reader wanted to crucify their friendship episodes and to see more romance.

Gonna board the bus to dehradun trip on 28th and will be back on 29th midnight! Wish me luck...hope it goes well.
