Let's begin the Q/A then :)
Q| How did I conceptualized the story of Dreams Woven Beautifully ?
Ans| So this is a Five year old story. I was in my 11th grade when I first entered the world of Wattpad. One fine day, my Twitter Sid - Alia shipper friends encouraged me to write fanfiction on our ship ie Sidlia. So I thought of trying my hand. I first wrote 10 chapters of this book in a rough notebook and later on published it before taking suggestions and review from close friends and class mates.
In my head, there are these scenarios constantly on loop where I play Alia Bhatt and almost everyone in her life keep making their appearances with some special cameos as well (ppl I get obsessed with at times). Well I am not normal that way so yeah :D Therefore when I used to be at my peak shipping mode for Sidlia, I used to imagine them in certain moments/scenarios which then I tried to inculcate in this book.
I knew that if I write a book on them or on Alia, it has to be on her personal life cause I dream more about that phase. And therefore my book looks kinda real and so does the scenes.
Q| Your writing process.
Ans| Except the first 10 chapters of this book that I actually sat down to draft elsewhere, the rest of the chapters in this book are all a result of spontaneous imagination. I plop in front of my laptop and open my said book screen where I need to draft. Like a breeze, thoughts and creativity washes over me and I keep writing them until I feel I've got what I want. And in most cases, I barely need to edit the same cause it flows very crisp and clear.
Days when it doesn't comes to me easily, I go through what we all call a writer's block and in my case it sometimes can extent up to months.
Q| Any regrets regarding the book ?
Ans| Well I do have regrets on my part. I mean around 30-40 % of my story line contains dragged scenarios that just went too far to be held back. I was still in my learning process and given my immaturity, I made a lot of mistakes in this book. But that's how you learn. You learn from your first kid and get better with your next one. Exactly what I did. So yes I do regret making some of those silly mistakes. Initial chapters are too short in length and when you reach midway into my book you'll know the limits I can go to express my thoughts.
