It's 9pm.

Yanna has no plans on checking her social media account for any updates but she needs someone to talk to.

She grabbed her phone and saw 4 new messages.

"Did it hurt? It's alright to cry." Maxi chatted Yanna.

The two of them were not really friends since Maxi is the biggest drama queen. But as Yanna learned from her interaction with Nathan, don't judge a book by it's cover.

"I don't know why I'm like this." Yanna answered. "Am I really...?"

"You are really in love with him. Because if not, you're not supposed to get hurt by what sir said."

"What sir had said about love.... "

Yanna's thoughts are flying. She couldn't think straight. There is too much drama going on her life and she's tired of it.

"Sometimes I wish I just disappear. You know, like I will sleep very well then I won''t be able to wake up the next day. No pain."

"Don't think that way. I feel you. Been there done that."

She thanked Maxi for the concern and immediately logged out her account and went to bed. She hugged her favorite pillow and closed her eyes. There are times she wished everything were just a dream.

That when she doesn't like what's happening, she can simply wake up to end it.

"Sometimes, I wonder why my tears keep on falling with no reason at all."

Or maybe she knows the reason. She's just too scared to admit it.

How many times did she cry this day? This Year? This entire life?

And a lot of people say she has a beautiful smile. A smile that hides millions and millions of secrets. A single smile enough to fool people and think she is happy.

The next morning, Yanna woke up earlier than usual. She couldn't sleep that well so she got up with a heavy heart.

"I think I'm falling....Ouch! My head hurts."

She shrugged it off and get dressed. It is Sunday. She's not used going to church every Sunday but this time is different. It is like something is driving her feet to go to church.

Upon entering, she sees familiar faces from the crowd. Most of them came from her school. She scanned the crowd looking for a place to sit when she saw someone standing at the corner, her old best friend since grade four.

By the looks of things, Ronna seemed like she changed.

"She is not the girl I used to sing love songs with during break time." Yanna thought.

She didn't bother to approach her. Maybe she'll not remember her. Or maybe she chose to forget her.

People change. Some are meant to stay only in your heart.

After the mass, Yanna walked home alone. It is alright because she is used to it. She can be herself when she is alone. She can do anything she likes away from anybody's judgments.

Beep! Beep!

"Miss! You're daydreaming. Walk at the sidewalk. Tss." Said the arrogant tricycle driver.

Yanna hurriedly walk at the safe side of the road and put her headphones on.

"Some people are so rude."

Her phone vibrated. She looked at her phone and saw a text message. A message from Nathan.

**From: Nathan

My birthday is next week. Be there.

Yanna's face lit up. She felt her cheeks getting warm. After the incident at school, she thought he'll never talk to her. She wants to scream right there on the spot. She is so happy.

Then she scrolled the message and her smile fade away.

**From: Nathan

My birthday is next week. Be there.

"What am I even expecting?" Yanna said disappointed. Then a flashback flooded her mind.

"KUNG NAGMAMADALI KAYO PWES.... HINDI KAYO BAGAY."
