-BER months finally arrived and soon it's Christmas Day. Holidays are every students' favorite since they can take a break from school and enjoy their vacation with their families.
At school during their lunch, Yanna is eating with her friends while Nathan is eating with his friends at the other side of the table in the cafeteria.
"I hope the next few months will be a break from all the drama." Yanna utters to herself while playing with her food.
Looking at her life right now, it is far from what she'd hoped.
Nathan noticed Yanna talking to herself. He grinned, drank his ice cold water from his tumbler and said "What's wrong with your food? Yo mama don't know how to feed you?"
And all of his friends laughed at that insulting comment.
Yanna rolled her eyes.
"Look who's talking? Do you know how to cook?" Janice said defending Yanna.
"Yes I do. Would you girls like a taste?" Nathan said teasing.
"If you're so good at cooking like you claim, maybe next time feed me?" Janice spat.
"Wow. Imba." His eyebrows formed an arch. "I won't dream of it."
Nathan noticed that Yanna doesn't give him any attention so he got up and sat on the empty chair next to her.
"Hey guys, is there something beside me? I can't see anything, it's so dark like a shadow."Yanna said with a naughty grin.
That little comment made everybody laughed, including Nathan's friends.
"Finally, a comeback I've been waiting for." She thought.
Nathan ignored the whole thing but he's determined to push Yanna to the limit.
"Huh? Why are you describing yourself as a shadow. Man! You're losing it?"
"Guys, is someone talking? I really can't see anyone."
Again, everybody laughed.
"You look like an earwax. You stink."
Nathan is not giving up. He has to get her to be mad at him.
"Wait, you have no boyfriend right? Are you lesbian? You like chicks? We have a lot of that in the chicken coop." Nathan laughed hysterically.
And so is everybody.
"You are unbelievable. After weeks of not talking to me, that's all you can say?" Yanna rolled her eyes again hoping he will get the point.
Nathan, not really minding what she said, stand up, borrowed a pen and paper from the cafeteria's cashier and wrote something.
He went back to sit beside Yanna just as everyone is done eating and packing up.
"Hold on don't leave just yet. I have something for you."
Yanna arched an eyebrow out of curiosity.
"Choose from the codes below." Nathan handed Yanna the paper.
Yanna looked and is surprised to see a series of numbers written at the paper.
"What the heck are you up to now? I'm not in the mood right now to tolerate your immaturity." She said before standing up.
"Oh, come on!" Nathan urged.
"No." Yanna said firmly. "Stop annoying me please!"
"Just do it and I'll stop."
