As we pull up to the beach, I'm wide eyed with excitement. I can barely wait as Kyoya comes and opens the sliding door. Jumping out and grabbing my bag, I look around as the sea breeze blows through my hair. Everyone else files out and stands around, enjoying the view.

"So, you wanna get going?" Hikaru asks as he stands next to me. I nod, and Kyoya leads us to a giant lodge. In awe, I look up at it with my mouth slightly open.

Kyoya shows us inside and we stand in some sort of lobby/living room.  He then shows us each to our rooms and we put our bags inside.

Kaoru gestures for me to follow and I do so. Him and Hikaru are in my room, holding what appears to be a selection of swimsuits.

"We bought a few, you can choose one if you like." They say and I thank them. They leave so I can change. Laying them out on my bed, I inspect the four bikinis I have been presented with.

The first one was red, with loosely woven string at the sides, and one strap that went round the neck. The next was a navy blue one, which was mostly strings, except over the crotch and boob areas, and had a large slit for the cleavage. I think it was more lingerie than a bikini. I don't think it will be that one... I thought to myself.

The next one was black, and had a single strap for round the neck. It also had a string tie up part over the cleavage so you could apply some modesty if you felt you needed to. The bottoms were plain black with small strings at the side. The last was a white one which was just very basic, but had light gray stripes which were very cute.

Deciding which one to wear is difficult, but after changing my mind multiple times, I decide on the black one. Its fancy, cute and basic at the same time. Folding the others up, I go into the ensuite and change. It fits me surprisingly well, and I admire myself in the mirror slightly. I've never felt this confident in clothes like this in a long time. They make me feel... Pretty I guess.

Putting a long sweater and shorts on over, I leave my room and take the swimsuits I'm not wearing back to Hikaru, as his room is next to mine.

"Aika, you found one you like?" He asks as I nod and hand them to him. As he looks at them, Kaoru pops up from behind him.

"Which one did you choose?" He questions me curiously.

"The black one." I reply and he nods.

"I hoped you'd choose the navy one..." Hikaru mumbled under his breath, still looking at the swimwear, but suddenly looked up. "I'm sure the black one looks good!"

"I hope so." I say embarrassedly. Suddenly, there's a bang of a door, and Tamaki bursts into the hallway. He notices us and smiles, before walking over to us.

He stands next to me and greets everyone. He asks us when we want to leave because everyone else is ready, and we agree to leave then. Walking the way we came, we walk from Kyoya's lodge to the beach outside.

The excitement soon hits me, and I begin running ahead. Flipping my sandals off, I allow my feet to sink into the soft warm sand. It's amazing. Turning, I see the rest of the group looking at me, smiling.

"Well what are you waiting for?" I call to them. They look at each other for a moment, before running towards me.

Tamaki is first to reach me, and he runs past me and towards the sea. I chase him and begin to catch up, he looks back to see me. Before he can realise, he looses his footing and begins falling. As if in slow motion, when I run past him, he grabs my ankle, pulling me down with him.

As I fall I place my hands out in front of me. The soft sand breaks my fall, and I land without hurting myself. Me and Tamaki start to laugh, until we realise everyone else is still on the other end of the beach, setting up. Bashfully, we walk back and begin to help.

"Help us will you?" Hikaru grunts as him and Kaoru try to open the cool box with the drinks in. Mori walks over and silently pops a lock that the twins didn't see, and they just look at each other. I laugh slightly at them.

"You can play in the sea later. I know you're excited, but it would be more fun with everyone. We need to set up first." Kyoya smiles, and I nod. I walk over to Haruhi, and help her lay out the towels for people. Tamaki walks over and grabs a parasol, which he sticks in the ground behind my towel.

Once we're set up, I sit on my towel and pull out my sunscreen. After takin off my sweater and shorts, I begin rubbing it in, and turn to see Tamaki Hikaru and Kaoru watching me.

Holding out the bottle, I smile at them. "Want some?" I ask, and they nod before taking the bottle and putting some on.

Once mine's rubbed in, I stand up and begin to leave towards the bright blue shiny ocean. However I'm halted by Honey's voice.

"Aika-Channnnn." I turn round and smile at him, "want to come with me to get ice creams?" Nodding vigorously, I run up to him and take his outstretched hand, and allow him to guide me to the ice cream stand. We buy an ice cream for everyone, and carry them back with much difficulty. After everyone has taken one, I take my own and begin to eat it.

Ice cream tastes a lot better at the beach. There's just something about the salty breeze that makes a regular vanilla whip that little bit more special. Before I know it, the sweet treat is no longer in my hand, but is resting happily in my tummy.

Once everyone has finished their ice creams, they ask me what I want to do next. I ponder for a moment, before deciding.

"Can we build a sand castle? I know it's childish but I've never done it before." Thinking no one will want to, I lower my head, "or we could... Do something different?"

"That sounds like a great idea!" Tamaki cheers, as he lifts a bucket and spade from the ground. He gets down on his knees and begins digging sand and pouring it into it.

Getting into my knees as well, I ask him how can I help. He tells me to go and find some pretty shells to put on as decoration. I nod and stand up. Instantly, a beautiful light green she'll catches my eye, and I bring it over to him.

"Is this okay?" I ask, and he nods. He flips the bucket upside down, and taps on top. Slowly, he pulls the bucket up, and a mould of it is left behind. Grinning, I place my shell on top of it, and feel slightly proud. I high five him, and we admire our work.

"Best sandcastle ever." I say, and we laugh. He then asks me what I wanna do next.

The rest of the day, we played in the sea and did beach stuff. Mori took me to the rock pools, and told me which crabs and things to catch. We got lots, and were planning to have them for dinner.

Overall, I could probably say that this was the best day that I've had in a long time.
