** Knock knock **

"Gah! What was that?" I hear a panicked voice murmur behind the door.

"It's just me, your hero." I say, opening the door. Hikaru is in his bed, holding his covers up to just under his eyes. He relaxes slightly as he sees me.

"Oh, good." He sighs. I sit on the end of his bed and look around.

"So where is this "thing"?" I ask. I wanna sort this out so I can go back to bed.

"Uh... last time I saw it, it was over there." He says, pointing towards a dark corner. Reaching for my phone, I shine the flash-light into the corner, revealing nothing except the cream painted wall.

"Uh.. maybe it was the other corner." I turn my light to the other corner, to again reveal nothing. Shining light around the whole room, I decided nothing was there.

"I told you, it's nothing." I said, but his eyes were looking behind me, full of fear. "Hikaru?"

"Shh. Don't move, it's right behind you." He says quietly, voice trembling. I freeze. Feeling a presence behind me, I forget how to breathe. I'm so scared that tears are brimming at my eyes and I feel like my heart is going to jump straight out of my chest.

BANG. Something falls over behind me, and I squeal and dash forward to the top of the bed where Hikaru is. He seems surprised as I dive under the covers and huddle into a ball.

"Is it gone?" I whisper, trying to stay calm, but my heart is racing. I don't really want to get possessed tonight. Or any time at all, for that matter. Debating whether or not I'm brave enough to actually look up over the covers, I instead decide to wait it out.

As I hide, I feel something warm wrap around my shoulder. Flinching, I yelp slightly. "Shh, it's fine, it's just me." I hear Hikaru say softly next to me. His voice is husky, like when I first heard it over the phone, due to talking in a hushed voice.

Looking up at him, I see him looking back down at me. "I'm scared..." I admit sheepishly.

"I am too." He says, slumping down so that he's at my level. It's lucky these beds are so big, or I'm sure one of us would have fallen out by now. He glances into my eyes and smiles to reassure me.

"Ha... And I thought I was the one who was meant to keep you safe." I laughed slightly.

"Well, we're together now, so we can keep each other safe." Nodding, I agree.

Suddenly, there's another noise, as if someone in the room threw something. Jumping, I don't realise but I wrap my arms and legs around him. "What was that?"

Instead of replying, Hikaru just looked at me in shock. I'm confused for a moment, before I look down and realise the position we're in. I also realise what my pyjamas are right now; a long t-shirt and a really small pair of shorts. What can I say? I wasn't planning on going out tonight.

I quickly remove myself from him and look away embarrassedly. "U-uh... I'm so sorry... I um..." Stuttering, I can't even figure to make this any more awkward. He laughs slightly. Dammit, now I've made him uncomfortable.

Expecting him to kick me out of his room, I'm surprised as reaches out and pulls me closer again.

"Your fine, if it makes you feel safe." You can tell through his husky voice that he's smirking. My breathing hitches; I've never been this close a guy like this before. I can tell that my face is completely red right now - for once I'm happy about this darkness.

For a while, we don't hear any noises, and I become more and more drowsy again. Soon, I could feel myself drifting off to sleep, in the warm embrace of my friend.

Light pours in through the curtains, and shines right over my eyes. I turn slightly as I wake up, rubbing my eyes. Opening them, I suddenly remember where I am.

"Good morning sunshine." Hikaru smirks as my eyes meet his amber ones. I blush slightly and look away. We're so close right now. "Did you sleep well?"

"Um... Yes thanks, you?"

"Yeah, you're really warm." He smiles, moving a piece of my hair away from my face. As he does so, I feel it tugging on something. Sitting up to investigate, I'm pulled back down. Wincing, I look up to see my hair tangled in my bracelet. I guess I forgot to take it off last night.

Trying to untie my unruly brunette morning locks, I end up somehow making it worse. Hikaru's warm hand wraps around mine, and he begins examining the jewelry around my wrist.

"How did you manage this?" He mutters as he tries to find a way to fix it.

"Oww!" I cry as he pulls my hair slightly.

"Sorry, we're in quite and awkward position..." He apologises. He moves over, and sits slightly more over me.

"Um..." Awkwardly, I gesture back down to my exposed legs.

"Yeah, aren't you cold in just booty shorts?" He asks, glancing down slightly before returning to my hair.

"I get too hot otherwi-Owww!! Watch it!" I complain as he tugs at my hair again.

"Sorry, you're the one who wanted to be tied up."

I roll my eyes. "You're the one that wanted me to sleep with you in the first place."

"Actually -"

Before Hikaru can finish his sentence, the door swings open with a loud bang.

Tamaki stands there with an angry expression. "WHAT IS GOING ON IN HE-" He freezes as he sees Hikaru kneeling between my legs, his hands in my hair, holding my hand. I also probably look half naked, as my oversized t-shirt is completely covering my shorts.

"It's not what it looks li-" Hikaru tries to explain, but Tamaki cuts him off.

"REALLY? THEN WHAT IS IT? I SHALL NOT ALLOW LEWD THINGS TO BE GOING ON IN HERE! ESPECIALLY TO MY DAUGHTER, YOU SHADY, PERVERTED TWIN!!!" Tamaki screams as he points at us. My face is boiling and crimson as I realise what he's accusing us of. Now that I think of it, any body passing by and overhearing our conversation could think that...

Tamaki storms over and lifts me out of the bed. I squeal as he throws me over his shoulder with ease. Hikaru watches me leave as I give him a defeated look, as I'm taken away.

Setting me down, Tamaki slams Hikaru's door and holds my shoulders firmly.

"What did you do with him."He asks, staring deep into my eyes.

"What? We didn't do anything like that!" I turn even redder, if that's possible, at the thought of what Tamaki must be thinking. He doesn't think I would do that, does he?

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, my bracelet was just caught in my hair, that's all." I explain, showing him the jewelry which is still tangled up. Realisation washes over him.

"Oh, it seems I jumped to a conclusion.. Sorry." He sighs. "Well as long as you're safe."

"Thanks." I reply. I begin leaving to go find a mirror.

As I'm half-way back to my room, Tamaki calls my name, and halts me again. "By the way, breakfast is in about 20 minutes." He smiles at me, and I nod.

Reaching my room, I go to my mirror, and try to untangle my bracelet. Succeeding, I place it on the bedside table, before showering, and getting dressed. It made me sad as I packed away all of my belongings. After breakfast, I would have to go back home, and then who knows when I would get to see them again.

Pushing the sad thoughts out of my mind, I hurry back downstairs, leaving my packed suitcase in the lobby area, I join my friends.

Might as well make the most of it while it lasts, right?
