PLEASE READ THE AN AT THE END :)

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

"Huh?" Waking up from a comfortable slumber, I look around my room. Where am I? Oh yeah, the 'cottage'. Stretching, I call out to whoever banged on my door. "Hello?"

"Aika-Chan! Are you awake?" I hear Honey calling from the other side of the door.

"I am now." I laugh, and I hear him laugh too.

"May we come in?" He asks, and I shout back that they can. Opening the door, I see the small blonde boy and his taller cousin smiling from the doorway. Honey dashes over and jumps onto my bed, and Mori walks over, ducking slightly under the doorway, before sitting on the end.

Sat up, I ask them, "What time is it?"

"It's about nine o'clock. We're going to the beach today, remember?" Honey excitedly explains.

"Oh yeah!" I cry, getting out of bed and going to my drawers. I pull out a pair of shorts and a baggy top with a change of underwear. "I'll get ready straight away."

Honey and Mori take this as a cue to leave, unlike my past unthoughtful guest, and I take a shower and get ready for the day ahead. Leaving my room, I find Mei leaving hers at the same time. We small talk about our nights and how we slept as we walk downstairs to the smell of breakfast frying.

"Mmm! Smells good!" Mei exclaims, and I nod in agreement.

Turning the corner, I am shocked as I find Tamaki wearing a chef's hat and an apron while carelessly waving a frying pan around. The others all sit around the large circle dining table that is in the middle of the room, looking unamused. Cheering, Tamaki waves to us.

"Hey guys! Look what I can do!" He shouts, lifting the pan and launching a pancake into the air. Wincing, I lunge forwards to try and stop it, however it carries on rising, before falling limply on the floor. Shaking my head, I can't help but smile at the sad little floor pancake.

"Impressive, that was pretty close to Kyoya." Kaoru remarks, and Tamaki shrugs.

"That's what you get for showing off this early in the morning." Hikaru says from his plate of bacon, rolling his eyes.

"To be honest, I'm impressed that you're even cooking!" I tell him, picking up the pancake and throwing it in the bin.

"Y-yeah!" He nods, turning back to the stove so that I can't see his face. "I totally didn't just get a maid to make all the batter or anything..."

Laughing, I take the pan from him. "Well at least you tried." Pouring batter into the pan, I start making another pancake. "Who wants this one?"

A chorus of "me"s sound, and I begin to make pancakes for everyone. There's more than enough mix for us all. Once I've made enough, I bring a plateful and various toppings to the table.

Within seconds, they've vanished, and all that's left is syrupy plates for the maids to deal with.

"So," Kyoya clears his throat, "Shall we be off?" Standing up, we put on our shoes and head outside.

The beach is in walking distance, therefore we take a nice morning stroll down the roads that lead to the pretty shores. Smiling as I walk I allow the morning sea breeze to blow through my hair. The coolness is a nice contrast to the growing heat.
