Life Never goes as Planned

On Bended Knee

It's been a couple of months since we've confessed our love and have been officially dating. Now I know for a fact that I love Killian Jones with all of my heart. It wasn't easy to let him in but it was worth it. I decided it was best to get rid of Neal and Milah, so I "transferred" them to another fashion institute, still in the same position but different location. I just couldn't take it having him around and Killian didn't want to be near Milah so it worked out.

We've been very busy these past few weeks planning our annual Beach side fashion show and I am nervous as can be. The reason why is because this year I'm in charge, so you could imagine how I'm feeling. Killian has been a great help along with Lacy. I don't know what I would do without these two.

I'm standing there observing the techs as they were fixing the runway. I sighed and that's when someone comes from behind and hugs me. "How's my beautiful girlfriend doing?" I smile as I look over my shoulder. "Stressed." He backs away and nods. "I know you are but hey love everything's going to turn out amazing." I smile and nod. "How about you go see the models and check that their designs are right?" I smile. "You always know how to cheer me up." He smiles and gives me a sweet and tender kiss. "I left your blue and black dress in your dressing room along with the anklets." I smile. "Thanks." He nods and walks away.

I walked to the dressing rooms and I check up on the girls. Their designs were on right and were getting their make up done. I then walked to my dressing room and started to get ready. I fixed my hair so I could have nice beach curls. I put on my dress and I put my anklets on. I look at myself and smile. That's when Lacy walks in. "How you doing Emma?" I smile. "You're dying aren't you?" I nod. She comes up and hugs me.

"Don't worry my best friend, everything will turn out good. I don't know why but I have feeling today will be extra special." She said as she caressed my arm. I couldn't help but smile. "I hope so." She smiles and nods. "Come on let's go and double check if everything is ready to go?" I smile and nod. We walk out and make our way to the runway. We checked everything and everything was good to go.

The sun was starting to set which meant it was almost show time. All the press and promoters were here and were interviewing people, it was just an atmosphere that I loved. Lacy and I make our way backstage and prepare the girls. Even though I was in charge the one who was going to present it was going to be Killian, he's the one starting it. I walk up to him and he looked nervous. I gave him a kiss and he smiled. "You're going to do great my love." He smiles and nods.

He walks out and greets the people and presents the collection. He then gives me the cue for the girls to walk in. Now it was show time. The girls walked to the runway and they were working it. Killian walks over to me and I give him a huge kiss. "Love you did great." He smiled. "Really?" I nod. He smiles. "Ok after this part then the concert is going to start." He nods. "I'm excited." He smiles. "Me too love." I smile and nod. That's when my design aide calls me. I give Killian a kiss and walked away.

I walk to her and I see that one of the designs that one of the models had one ripped. There was a huge tear in the back and it looked horrible. And to my luck it was the design that was going to end the show and was going to present the band that was going to play. I started to panic but then I tried to relax. I decided to change the original design, the people won't know. So I made three more rips and I tied them down. Now there was a beautiful blue braid along the model's back. It looked nice and everything was good to go. No she went out and finished the first part of the collection. As soon as she stood at the front the band began to play.

Thirty minutes later the band ends and the second part of the collection starts. The girls start to walk and show off the designs. I was so happy that the show was going good. After 20 minutes the show was coming to an end. After everyone walks out clapping then Lacy and I walk out and we bow. Everyone was clapping and I was happy as can be. We walk backstage and I thank everyone for helping out. Now it was time for the after party.

I was looking for Killian and Lacy but I couldn't find them anywhere. I thought that was odd. That's when August walks up to me. "Emma you did great as always." I smiled. "Thanks." He nodded. "On Monday I would like to speak to you about something." I started to get nervous. "I promise that I've changed I'm not mean anymore." I said and he laughed. "Oh Emma it's not that, it's about a job offer." I smile. "Really?" He nods. "So enjoy your after party and see you Monday." I smile. "Thanks August." He nods.

A lot of people went up to me and congratulated me for the runway show. I was extremely happy that everyone liked the collection. That's when someone covers my eyes. "Guess who?" I smiled and turned around. "I finally found you." He sighs. "Sorry I was just caught up with something." I nod. He hugs me. "How about we get away from all this and walk along the shore?" He asks as he grabs my hand. I smile and nod. "I would love that." He smiles.

We walk away from the party and we start to walk along the shore. It was so secluded and quiet. I loved it. "We have gone a long way haven't we miss Swan?" He asks with a smirk on his face. I laugh. "Yes we have mister Jones." He smiles. "From me being a pain in the butt to faking our engagement to loving each other, so yeah we have." He laughs. "I know I still can't believe I fell in love with my heartless boss." I laugh. "Hey!" He smiles. "Are you happy Emma?" I gave him a weird look. "Of course I'm happy, you're not?" He smiles. "No of course I am." I smile. "I was just thinking of you know our future." I smile. "I'm excited, I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us." I say and he smiles. "That's good because I want to ask you something."

I gave him a weird look and that's when I see something that leaves me speechless. I see a rock wall with a sign against it that reads, "will you marry me?" We walk up to the sign and my heart was beating super fast. "So this is what you were doing while I was alone at the party?" He nods. He then gets on one knee. "Emma, I know that we faked our engagement and we've almost lost each other, but now I know that I love you and I want to live the rest of my life with you." I couldn't help but smile.

He then takes out the box and reveals the ring. "So what do you say Emma, will you marry me?" I nod. "Yes, of course Killian." I say and he slides the ring on my finger. He gets up and caresses my cheek. "Can't wait to live out my days with your future Mrs. Jones." I smiled and I pull him into a kiss. We stood there kissing and let me tell you it was the most sweet and tender kiss I have ever received from Killian.

As we are there kissing I start to hear clapping and everyone from the party comes out from behind the rock wall. I gasp as I see them. They start to throw rose petals over us and boy did I blush like crazy. Lacy walks up to us. "See I told you Killian she was going to say yes." She says and I gasp. "You helped out?" She nods. "Yeah Lacy helped me out." Killian says.

I shake my head. "Thanks Lacy." Lacy nods. "You better make her happy if not you'll hear from me." She says and I laugh as I hug Killian. "Don't worry Lacy I promise to make her happy for the rest of her days." She smiles. "See didn't I tell you that today was going to be special Emma?" I nod and smile. That's when our guests come up to us to congratulate us. The press took pictures so now it was out in the open that Killian and I are indeed engaged. I couldn't believe that I was now officially engaged to Killian Jones, the love of my life.
