Weeks later
I'm laying in the hospital bed and I'm in excruciating pain. I'm both scared and happy. I'm happy that I'm having my little one with me but scared that I won't be a good parent. Well the only thing that soothes me is the fact that Killian is going to be at my side.
The doctor walks in and checks me. "Ok Mrs Jones, you are now ready to push," he says and I shake my head. "No my husband, just went out he's coming back," I say and he sighs. "Your daughter is coming you need to push," he says and I nod. I start to push and my was the pain unbearable.
I continued to push for a good five minutes. "Ok Emma she's coming," he says and I give one last push. As I'm pushing I hear a cry. I fall back and started to cry. Yes my little one is finally with me, oh Killian will be thrilled to see her. They clean her up and place her on my chest. I smiled as I looked at her.
"Hello little one," I say as she buries her face in my chest. My was I in love. I look out the room and there was no sign of Killian. I was starting to worry. I started to get up and the doctor pushed me down. "No I have to go find my husband," I said and started to run with Rhea in my arms.
I walked down the halls of the maternity floor and there was no sign of him. I get to a room and I see a man that looks like him but he's holding a baby boy. I walk in and I see Ruby sitting back on the bed smiling. "Killian?" I say and the man turns around and sure enough it's Killian.
"Killian, where were you, I just gave birth to our daughter?" He scoffs. "Our daughter?" I gave him a weird look. "Yes Killian this is your daughter," I say and he looks at the boy. "I don't have a daughter with you because you took my son away from me, that is why Ruby gave me that blessing. You killed him." I start to cry.
"Killian, I thought you forgave me for that?" I said and he chuckles. "I don't love you Emma, I started a family with Ruby and our new son." I continued to cry. "I need you, Rhea needs you," I say and he scoffs. "Go away Emma," he says and I fall on the floor with Rhea in my arms. I look up and I see Killian kissing Ruby with the baby in his arms. That's when I get a sharp pain in my stomach.
I gasp as I get up. I look around and I'm in my room and it's still night time. I look at the clock and it's 4:15 a.m. I sigh in relief. That's when I touch my belly and it's still big so it meant Rhea is still in there. I smiled and caressed it. As I continued to caress my belly, the same pain I was feeling in my dream started to hit me but it got worse.
I take my blanket away and I see a lot of blood, it was too much. I tried to turn on my phone but it was dead. I start screaming from the pain. "Kids!" I scream out. Nothing. I couldn't contain this pain. I start to panic.
I can't lose Rhea, she's still too small, she can't come. "Leía, Liam!" I scream out. I continued to scream and that's when I hear some footsteps. They walk into the room and I smile. "Mommy what's wrong?" Leía asks. They gasp when they see the blood. That's when they start to cry. "Mommy's going to be ok, Liam I need you to call Jesse, ok go connect my phone and call him," I say and he nods. Leía comes over to me and hugs me.
"Mommy are you and my sister going to be ok?" I tried to contain my screams from the pain and nodded. "Yes my love," she says and that's when Liam starts to call Jesse. "Doctor Jesse you need to come, mommy is bleeding," he says and Jesse gasps. "Put him on speaker Liam," and he puts Jesse on speaker. "Emma, what's going on?" "Jesse can you please get here I'm losing too much blood," I say and he gasps. "I'll be there in 5 minutes," he says and I sigh in relief.
"Thank you my loves," I say and they hug me. I cover myself so they don't get even more scared seeing so much blood in front of them. Minutes pass by and Jesse arrives. "Kids go to to the room and pack a small back pack, we are taking your mommy to the hospital," he says and the kids run to their room. He takes off the blanket and gasps.
