We make our way to the hospital and Rhea was asleep. She did not want to leave her daddy's side. We finally arrived to the hospital and we made our way to the room where they had Regina at. I looked at Killian with Rhea in his arms and sighed. He gave me a nod and we walked in.
We walk in and we see Regina asleep on the bed and Jesse at her side. "Hey Emma," he softly says. I nod. He then gives Killian a nod. "How is she?" He sighs. "Not good, I thought the bullets hadn't hit any major organs but they did." We all gasp. "But I know she will survive." We nod. "How's Rhea?" He asks as he sits back on his chair.
"She's ok." He nods. "I bet she's happy to be in Killian's arms." I nod. "And you too I suppose." I sigh. "Jesse..." He puts his hand up. "Look I get it, I can't blame you, I was blinded by my love for you that I did unexplainable things just like Regina," he says and caresses her head.
I look up at Killian and he lifts his eyebrow. "You know we all deserve a chance at love, I have found mine." He chuckles. "Really Emma, I didn't know you were the one to gloat that you have love." I shake my head. "You know what I meant." He nods. "Look I'm sorry for slapping you, I.." He nods. "I get it Emma, it's ok." I nod.
"Why don't you three go back home, I'm sure Leía and Liam are missing you Emma." I nod. That's when we hear Regina groan. Jesse gets up in an instant and looks down at her. "Oh God, where am I?" Jesse smiles. "At the hospital." She gasps. "Wait is Rhea ok?" She looks up and sees us. She then sighs in relief.
"Hey you guys," she softly says and we smile. She then sighs. "Killian, Emma, I'm sorry for everything that we did, I feel so ashamed I guess my love for Killian blinded me and besides being on that island wasn't easy." We nod. "Told ya," Jesse says and we nod.
"It's ok, all is forgiven," I say as Killian hugs me. That's when we hear Rhea groan. She gets up then smiles when she sees Killian. "Daddy," she softly says and holds tightly on to his neck. Killian pushes her up slightly adjusting her on his shoulders. "I love you sweetheart." "Love you too," Rhea says and starts to fall asleep.
"You deserve to be with your family Killian," Regina says then starts to cough. Jesse caresses her head and she smiles. "You both deserve to be happy," I say and she laughs. "Why don't you two get back home, I'm sure the world is dying to know that you two are back together." I nod.
"Thanks Regina." She laughs. "I'm not Regina, but Gina and I will be considered your rival in the fashion industry so be prepared Mrs. Jones." I laugh. "Alright Gina," I say and she nods. Killian then walks up to her. "Are you sure you're going to be ok?" She grabs his hand and nods.
"Don't worry Killian, I'll look out for her," Jesse says and Killian nods. "Good." "Say goodbye to the twins for me, I'll miss them." I nod. "Of course." He nods. We walk away and head towards a hotel. It was a stressful day so it was best to just rest. We checked into the hotel and made our way to our room.
Rhea was a bit quiet which worried me. I really hope she's not suffering from any trauma but I think having Killian here helps her. Killian and Rhea are watching tv while I'm on the phone buying plane tickets. I look back and I see Rhea still holding on to Killian. I finished buying the tickets and I went and sat next to Rhea on the bed. She then goes and grabs my hand.
"I'm so happy to have my mommy and my real daddy with me," she says and I smile. Hearing her say that warmed my heart. "So we will be leaving at 9am." Killian nods. "Perfect time." I nod. Killian then leans over to me and gives me a kiss. As we are kissing we hear someone giggle. "Mommy and daddy are kissing." Killian and I look down at her and smile.
Killian picks her up and starts to tickle her. "Yes I'm kissing her because I love her." Rhea is laughing like crazy which made me feel so relieved because she's not suffering from a trauma. "And do you love me daddy?" Killian then starts showering her with kisses and she's just laughing. Seeing them act like that made me melt. It honestly felt like Killian has known Rhea since she was born.
That's when Rhea starts to yawn. "Ok I think it's time for someone to go to sleep," Killian says and Rhea groans. "But I'm not tired," she says and yawns again. Killian tucks Rhea into the bed. "Will you be coming home with mommy and I?" Killian nods. "Of course." She smiles. She then turns around and pretends to go to sleep.
"Good night mommy and daddy," she says then covers herself. "Good night," we both say. Minutes passed by and we hear a light snore. Killian is just sitting there observing her. "What's wrong Killian?" He sighs. "It has just been a very overwhelming day." I nod. He then gets up and hugs me.
"I'm just happy to know that everyone I love is safe and sound." I smile and nod. He then gives me a smirk. I laugh. "Killian no.." I say and he starts to kiss me. "Killian, we can't, Rhea is here," I say in between breaths. He starts to kiss my neck which made me go crazy.
"I know you've been wanting me love," he says as he continues to kiss my neck. I couldn't help but melt. He was right but Rhea is here. His hands were caressing my whole body which made my knees weak. "Killian..." I softly moan, which only made him moan. I couldn't help but smile. "I promise once we get back, we will have a night all to ourselves." He backs away and lifts his eyebrow.
"Promise?" I laugh. "Promise." He then gives me one last passionate kiss. "I love you." I smile. "And I love you Killian." He smiles. "Can't wait to go back home and see my twins." I smile. "They will be thrilled to see that their dad is not dead but is alive and back home."
Regina's POV I see them walkout and my heart breaks. I knew sooner or later this was going to happen. I look back at Jesse and he looked the same way as me heartbroken. "We have such good luck huh?" I say and he nods.
"Yeah it's just that..." He then chuckles. "Ah why do you care about my life. we were only partners, once you're healed I will leave." I sigh. "Who says I don't care?" He gives me a weird look. "I mean sure we were partners but we understand each other's pain, maybe we could be friends?" He smiles.
"Just friends huh?" I nod. "Sure or partners in crime," I say with a wink. He shakes his head and laughs. "Well I guess getting heart broken has its perks." I give him a weird look. "Why do you say that?" He smiles. "Because it looks like my partner in crime will also be my friend." I couldn't help but smile.
"I guess so," I say then groan. "Don't worry Gina," he says in a mocking tone. "I'll be here for you." I couldn't help but feel all tingly inside. "Thank you." He smiles. "Now rest up, you gotta get better if you want to get back to work." I smile and nod.
I start to fall back asleep and he comes and kisses my forehead. "No matter what happens I will be by your side." I couldn't help but smile. Maybe my happiness isn't alongside Killian but maybe Jesse. I don't know but I'm excited to see what life has in store for us.
