Chapter 6

"GIMMIE IT ITS MY CAR" "NO YOU GIMMIE IT" GIVE, GIVE GIVE IM OLDER" "YH AND UGLIER" Devin and Lexi were arguing about who gets to use the aux cord. I just sighed and couldn't be doing this. I grabbed the cord from both of them and gave them a stare and say "MINE, OK" They both agreed immediately . I played "OOOUUU" by YOUNG m.a. We all sat back and Lexi began driving. Devin whispers into my ear

Devin: "Thanks, if you didn't do that we would have to listen to her crappy music"

Lexi:"Excuse me"

Devin:"You excused" I laughed. Being with them made my mood uplift and i had no worries as if they all vanished. Devin kept poking my leg continuously which made me slap him and kept calling my name as if i was far away from him.

Devin:"ALIYAH ALIYAH ALIYAH," he says while tapping me.

Aliyah:"Yh Dev".

Devin:"Hi" and waves at me pretending like he's fangirling over me. I burst out and hit my head of lexis seat, Lexi laughs with me too.

Aliyah:"Your so weird Devin"

We were in the car for 30 mins until we stopped, we were in a car park.

Aliyah:"Why are we in a car park?"

Devin:"Car park, the hell does that mean, do you mean a parking lot" looking confused.

Aliyah:"Yh that"

Devin:"We're going for a walk and then the surprise will come". We begin walking down a path. My feet hit something soft and warm. I realise its sand. I look down, then look at Devin, he has a massive grin on his face. A gigantic smile forms on my face. I gave Devin the look and he returned it back 

Aliyah:"READY, SET, GO!". I screamed out loud.

 We both sprint down the path, a beach meeting us at the end. We raced a lot when we were children and Devin thought he was winning until I began running faster. We both ran for our lives as if it depended on it, we ran into the sea. As the water becomes in contact with my body, i feel goose bumps form on my exposed skin.

I hear a massive groan behind me. And instantly i began to laugh. My stomach was in stitches, the look on Devins' face. I'm joined by a laugh, it wasn't Lexis. But the voice sounded familiar, we both look back and see Daniel rolling on the sand laughing with his phone out. Watching him laugh made me laugh even more. Devin and I walk over to Daniel and greet him. He smelt soooooo good, when i hugged him. Making butterflies swirl in my stomach. He showed me the video of Devin losing which brought tears to my eyes due to laughing. Devin avoided us afterwards.

Aliyah:"Yoh Devin, DEV, DEV, Uggghhhh i don't understand why he is ignoring us, it was only for bants"

Daniel:" Yh i know he's trippin over somethin small, has he always been a sore loser?"

Aliyah:"Yh since we were kids if anyone wins he gets annoyed cuz , it runs through the fam tho cuz I'm like that as well, were very competitive" I giggle. "How cum your here, are you wid ur fam"

Daniel:"Nahhh, Devin told me use were comin, and so i just told my mom to drop me of here, Kev would have come but......" I look down at my knees.The atmosphere becomes awkward as daniel realises that me and Kevin are not speaking. "I'm sorry, i didn't mean to say that i forgot what happened"

Aliyah:"Yh its ok" My voice is quiet. I feel warm hands lift my face up.

Daniel:"Hey don't be sad, somebody as pretty as you shouldn't have a face on like that, Kev will talk soon and everything will be okay, u gonna smile for me now"He winks. I feel the blood rush to my cheeks, i nod. He gets up and offers me a hand. I take it and we walk to Devin.

Aliyah:"Devin, don't be like this, I'm sorry i won will you forgive me?"

Devin:"Hmmmmm..... Whats it worth"

Aliyah:"My happiness" I smile trying so hard to convince him to stop sulking. I gave him the puppy eyes.

Devin:"Okkk... But by the way, you fail at the puppy eyes"

Aliyah:"Well at least i can run" I hear Daniel laugh.I instantly ran away from Devin knowing that he was going to chase me for saying that. I run fast while laughing. I take a breather as running on sand isn't easy. Looking around i find no sign of Devin, just Daniel. 

Suddenly I feel tight arms around my waist and I'm lifted of the ground, my heart is racing as i watch Devin walk towards the water. I try to fight so hard by kicking him with my legs but he didn't let go.

Aliyah:"DEVIN DONT DO THIS"

Devin:"This is wat u get for messing wid the king". UGGHHHHH i sighed I began biting his hand and shouting LET ME GO!!

Devin:"If you say so ma". I feel my body being released in the air and in seconds i am under the water. I quickly find the floor of the sea and stand up, my whole body was completely soaked. It was like my clothes were a cloud and it began raining heavily. I'm not the type of person to get all annoyed about my hair being wet because after all it is hot and it will dry. But i pretend that i am angry to trick the boys. I walk out of the sea "angry" i groan really loud. I look at the boys and give them both a death stare especially Devin. They both stand frozen in the water and look at each other confused, i walk past them, Devin tries to reach for my hand but i slap it away. I find myself a place to sit on the sand and go on my phone. I hope this plan works. 

The boys try and talk to me but i dodge them. For 5 mins i ignore them and get up and walk away from them. They follow behind me like lost puppies looking for their owners. I hear my name being called "Al don't do this". Devins' arm finds itself on my neck. Here goes nothing. I grab his arm and lock it from behind and trip him up. He screams. 

"HAVENT YOU REALISED THAT YOU DONT MESS WITH ME"i say while laughing,    Daniel claps. "Wow didn't no u were able to do that," he says.

Aliyah:"If you want ill do it to u"

Daniel:"Nahhh I'm good". he says while moving away from me. Devin gets up and we both give the look. Were even now. We walk over to the place we sat before and laid down.

Aliyah:"Dev, I'm hungry AF,"I say while rubbing my stomach.

Devin:"Lucky for you, I brought food cuz I'm clever" He opens his team bag full of food.

He hands me subways and my mouth waters as the food enters it. We all begin eating the food and talk. They tell me about upcoming events for the bomb digz and more. After eating i am stuffed but the boys continue to eat.
