Chapter 28

"Okay Alston I'm going to shout out the ingredients we need and you have to tell me if we have em ok?" I say.

"Butter?"

"Yep"

"Sugar?"

"Yh ma your sugar too" And he winks.

"Eggs?" 

He runs around the kitchen trying to find em and begins scratching his head. "Liyah there isn't any eggs  i think we gotta go to the store"

"Alright imma just get my phone "

At the store

I'm currently holding kevs hand and people are smiling at us as they think were a couple. I walk infront of kev because he kept taking pictures of me and continusouly did until we got into the store. 

"God damn target has gone sooo much bigger since we were kids"

"Nahhh it hasnt you just havent been here for a while"

"OMG I LITERALLY HAVEN'T TASTED ANY OF THESE IN AGES, OML THERE IS WAYYYY TO MUCH IN AMERICA LIKE NO WONDER YA'LL ARE OBESE!!" I say in amazement as i look at all the sweets (candy) and I hit kevs stomach. 

"Thats it! You better run" He says. I begin running around the store and I could see him running so closely but i switched aisle. After running for 5 mins I look behind me to find no kev, thinking he's probably hiding i tip toe to check the next aisle but he wasn't there. And I felt kinda stupid because i had been running for God knows how long. 

I began walking around, kinda remember where places were but I got to the point where I gave up so asked one of the people who worked at target. 

"Hi, have you seen my friend" I showed a picture of Kev and the man said" Erm.. I'm sorry maam  but when i seen him he was talking to a girl and they were acting quite flirtatious. If i were you i would dump he aint worth your time." 

I tried interrupt him to say that kev wasn't my boyfriend but he insisted me to listen. He directed me to where kev was and i began calling him but it would go straight to voice mail. Is this guy really gonna play me like this? UGGHHH. I literally rang him 5 times.

 I seen him, luckily he didnt see me. I watched how the girl was touching his muscles the way he just let her. She kept coming close to him talking about how good he smelt and he kept smiling at her aswell. At this point i was literally gonna find my own way home. 

 I thought if i rang him again maybe his phone is on silent or something. But definitely it wasn't as i heard his ringtone loud and clear.

I watched him put my call on silent. Ermmm nobody puts my ass on silent. I walked away and brought the stuff me AND KEV were meant to buy TOGETHER . (Also buying a few chocolate and naughty foods for myself. I go to the cashier and it was the man who i asked where kev was. Not awks at all that I'm leaving alone. 

"So you dumped him yet because i don't think he's listened because he's over there" I didnt look back because if i did he'd notice me. So i just said to the cashier "I'm not gonna look back because then he'll notice I'm here and i cba for him atm. He hasn't noticed me has he?" 

Awkwardly he says "He's coming over right now" 

"Oh geez lemme just pay and run out of here" I begin laughing nervously.

"That'll be $10 please" He all of a sudden gives someone a dirty look and i instantly smell kevs god damn horrible heaven like aftershave. Kevin hands a $10 bill to the man and the guy looks at my bill and then at kevs. 

He grunts at kev and takes mine smiling and winking at me. "Why you winking at her for she don't like you. She has standards boii" 

 I smile back at the cashier and say "See ya. Thank you " 

The cashier calls the next person to put their stuff down but still kev proceeds to continue arguing so I walk of. I begin walking fast out of the store and leaving kevin.
