Moving from England to America, moving in with your cousin Devin and his family and a complete new lifestyle is tough and extremly exciting at the same time as you havent seen your friends and family in years.But will moving back be the best option ?
I wake up smiling, feeling gizzy af. I haven't felt this good in time. It's funny because as soon as me and Aliyah spoke its like, as cliche as it may sound, but just like old times. We are close but there is that hurt feeling remaining inside of me and i know its gonna take time but uno it's like I wish it vanished already like i wanna forget as i don't wanna live in the past but the feelings improving over time.
I walk downstairs and kiss Mom who was cooking. She smiles, "So, how you feeling Kev did you have a good sleep?" "Yh and I'm doing good mom, wat bout u"I reply. "Yh and good, I'm happy your happy."She walks past me and smiles and i return it back. I pour the lucky charms in a bowl and add the milk. I take a quick picture and send it to Lexi on snap chat with the caption"Having you for breakfast 😂 lil lucki" and walk into the living room were Shari is on her phone. I put on sponge bob and begin eating. "Mannn, I Luv cereal"I moan. Shari begins hysterically laughing, I give her the confused look and she has her phone recording me. Whatever she recorded, replayed continuously and i was able to understand what was funny after her laugh began to disappear. I realised i didn't think it, i actually said it. That's sooooo embarrassing. I can't believe i just said "Mannn, I Luv cereal" out loud. I quickly finish eating my food and walk to the kitchen and put the bowl in the sink. I go to my room and change into an outfit and then chill on my bed.

I tell Mom to drop me off to Devins because I need to catch up on school work and all my things are there. When we arrive outside of Devins, I look at mom and she has the happiest and loving smile on her face. "I love seeing you happy like this Kev, you no when you were sad i thought you weren't going to be the old Kevin Michael but you are now," She says. "I love you my beautiful, gorg mom" I kiss her forehead and head out the car.
I knock the door and then walk in just in case they didn't know someone was here. Dev is sitting on the couch, we greet each other and then just chill. Lexi and Aliyah were upstairs and Jazzy was in her room. I was going to go upstairs to say hey as i don't think she knows I'm here, but Devin told me they were doing things which kinda disappointed me , but i shrugged it off. After an hour I ask dev "What were you revising in maths cuz i need to catch up" "Just going through test papers, and that. I gotta finish of a paper, so imma get the books and that and well start."
We're going through the work when i realise, Tf is Daniel at? I ask Devin and he says he's ill. He's got the flu. I continue to work when Devin asks "9+10=21 right?" I didn't no if he was joking or serious, but his face indicated that he weren't joking. I was about to correct him but i was interrupted. Aliyah was standing there practically dying with laughter and tearing up, I joined in too. She laughed like 5mins straight. When she regain her normal self, she corrected Devin. "Devin, i literally can't believe you just said that, everyone nows that its 19 not 21 you bum" He looked extremely embarrassed, well at least I'm not the only one who has been in the spotlight for the wrong reasons today.
Aliyah chills with us while we did our work. Even though she is younger than us she sure is cleverer. "Aliyah are you gonna come to the family party?" I ask her. "OMG, I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THEM. I used to love going to them, but i haven't got a dress or anything.I might go town tomorrow then." She replies. The family party was a get together with the bomb digz crew and their families and we just party and celebrate the successes we have made over the year, it's like a tradition. "I'm doing nothing tomorrow so ill come to the MALL not town u lil British crumpet with you tomorrow. Wbu Kevin?" I reply to Devin. "Yh I'm good for tomorrow, I'll ask Daniel later if he's up to going". A gigantic smile grows on Aliyahs face "Cool, tomorrow's gonna be lit AF."
