Moving from England to America, moving in with your cousin Devin and his family and a complete new lifestyle is tough and extremly exciting at the same time as you havent seen your friends and family in years.But will moving back be the best option ?
I wake up with a sore throat. As I look closely at my surroundings I realise I'm not in my bed which instantly i jolt up. I am in a random bed with no one by my side. I try looking for my phone but I find myself distracted by a mouth-watering aroma. I jump out of the bed and follow it, which it leads me to a kitchen where a boy is cooking. I suddenly realise I'm at Seth's house.
He notices that I'm standing there in which he says "Morning, Lil one, sleep well?" I walk closer into the kitchen and say"Yh I have a little sore throat but it must be from all that chaos last night, anyway what you cooking because it smells soooooo good". He replies "Pancakes, sit down, there ready now." I sit at the counter table and watch as he places the pancake on the plate and drizzles it with syrup which my hunger level increase, practically eating my insides. As soon as the plate is put in front of me, I dive in. The pancakes were soooooo delicious.
While eating my pancakes I tell Seth that they are literally amazing and needs to cook for me often. He laughs at me. I remember today is the day of the party, "It's the party today, what are you gonna wear?" I ask. "Errmmm, I have an outfit all set but I cba to go get it now" "Alright, but you need to show me it,"I tell him which he agrees.
We finish breakfast and we play ball outside for hrs. It was funny watching Seth's face when I continuously got the ball into the basket. It was because i played at school and i was pretty good ngl.
Seth's phone began ringing in the middle of our game against each other so he answered it and while talking on the phone he took it off his ear and looked at his screen and then quickly said goodbye to the person and began sprinting inside the house. I followed him inside, "Seth, whats happened? Seth tell me, Seth has something happened? SETH!!"
"What Aliyah?" He looks at me finally, but he looks confused. "Whats happened, why you actin getting ready making sure each strand of hair is perfect and there's not a single crease on their shirt?" I laugh. But he says quickly "ITS 6 !! The party starts in an hr and I haven't even started to get changed yet" He throw his phone to me, "Oh shit i didn't even realise, we musta lost track of time when we were playing ball, go get changed imma get ready cuz i need to go back home."
Seth goes into the shower and I throw on Seth's hoodie, and afterwards I try searching for my phone. I find it buried under the pillows. I switch it on to find numerous of messages on it.

All of the boys and Lexi have been calling me and I hadn't realised because it was on silent. They must have been worried sick, I text all of them telling them that "I'm fine and I'm going to be home soon, I just stopped off at my friend's house to clear my head."
It was now 6.20 and I begin walking back to Devins and it's only a 20-minute walk, even though Seth insisted he'd take me back I told him he needed to get ready and It would be much quicker if I just went now so I did.
I finally reach the Gordons house in 10 mins due to my heavy sprinting. I walk into the door and I'm met by Lexi and Dev "WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN !! WE'VE BEEN WORRIED SICK!"
I calm them down "Relax guys I was just at a friends house and I'll explain everything later but use get changed and imma be down in like 5 mins i just need to change. "
I was currently still in Seth's clothes so I didn't want it to look weird as if something dirty happened. I ran up to my room got changed in joggers and a top, and when i was about to head downstairs Dev knocked on my door and came in. "Hey, aliyah I'm sorry I didn't understand you about the dress, Lexi explained to me why you were so upset, I get why you feel like that but still you shouldn't let an outfit bring you down. You should come and celebrate, i can stay here with you till you get changed and we can go together."
"Awwwww Dev you don't gotta do that, honestly I'm cool with not going, you go I'll be fine ok, seriously goooooo." I put on a laugh because honestly, it hurt each second he was speaking about it. He replies "If your sure but remember if you wanna come just hit me up and ill pick you up, ok?" I agree and let him go. Everyone looked soo stunning, especially Lexi. I wave them goodbye and instantly when they were no longer in view I fell to the ground and buried my head in my hands.
Devin's pov - When aliyah came home
When I talked to Aliyah I saw the pain in her eyes as she spoke pretending that she was ok. Lexi had explained to me before that she wanted to feel amazing and prove that she left for the right reasons. And I feel guilty as I didn't realise until i had to be told. I kept ringing her before Lexi explained it to me so I told Dani and Kev to stop ringing her afterwards because she needed time and I explained to them what Lexi had told me. They understood but strangely Dani kept ringing her which was really odd, it was as it was super urgent but I have no clue why. I haven't really spoken to him much these past couple of days, but it's good because we'll be able to have a good catch up.
Aliyah's Pov
I got up off the floor and went to the living room. I flicked through the channels and It landed on Disney channel so I just watched whatever was on.
Until there was a massive bang at my door, I was slightly falling asleep but that sound definitely woke me up. I walked to the door and opened it and there was Dani looking hot as ever with something in his hand. "What are you doing Dani? You're meant to be at the party. Everyone already left"
"Not everybody".
"Wait, what do you mean?"
"Here go put this on and get ready quick," He said handing me a massive box.
