Chapter 7

________Hours later___________

I wake up from a 30 min nap, Dev and Dan are in the water taking pictures of each other for their Instagram.Daniel is flexing. i laugh. He looks at me and winks.

Devin:"Put the phones near Liya and lets mess about". Daniel walks towards me and sits down.

Daniel:"Did you have a nice dream sleepy head"

Aliyah:"Didn't really dream sadly" I laughed.

Devin:"Hurry up Dan, I only told ya to put it next to her"

Daniel:"I betta go or he'll kill me"

I lay back and watch the boys mess around in the water, trying to act hard. They were trying to see who could floor the other the fastest. Devin won multiple times as he was stronger. And they threw water in each others faces, which made me laugh because of the faces they make when the water would go up there noses or in the mouth. I took a few pictures of them as they both looked cute playing in the sea.

I was scrolling through my Instagram when i was interrupted my daniel.

Daniel:" Hey aliyah come in"

Aliyah:"I'll come in a bit"

i continue to scroll through my feed and decide to snap chat myself using the HOEE filter. Yep, the dog one. I go back on to Instagram and like a lot of posts until a post catches my eye. i click onto it and its the bomb digz. A new cover is uploaded. i get excited.I play it out loud listening to it. It brought back the feeling of being numb .My heart beating so loud that i could hear it. I began shaking, the tears rolled down my face. i ached everywhere. I knew it was too good to be true. Having such an amazing day. The words burning holes in my heart "All because of you". Made me realise i am such a terrible person. It felt like Kevin ment it to me, to make me feel like its all my fault. The way he's the lead singer in it. I wish i never came, lying in bed crying was better than being here. The boys looked at me and realising that i was crying, the video was still playing out loud and i see the boys running towards me, their faces emotionless. Daniel stopped the video and Devin dropped himself next to me and comforted me.

Devin:"I'm so sorry , don't cry," he says rubbing my arm.

Aliyah:"I'm fine, go back to playing, I'll join" I stand up wiping the tears from my face. "Let's play who can walk the furthest into the sea, come on" The boys looked confused due to the sudden change of state but they proceed to follow me.

Devin grabs my arm "Are you sure ur okay"

Aliyah:"Yh I'm fine stop worrying about me" I escape from his grip and run into the water.My adrenaline was pumping, the blood rushing through my veins.

Aliyah:"I can go further"

Daniel didn't want me to go further. "Aliyah calm down, i think we should get out now the waves are getting quite dangerous"

Aliyah:"Stop being a wuss"

Devin and daniel both look at each other, exchanging WTF glances but i shrugged them off. The water began coming up to my shoulders.But I continued to walk through the water, leaving the boys behind. "ALIYAH DUCK" I hear. I held my breath and went under the water. After the wave disappeared, i came back up. I was pulled further into the sea. A massive sigh was released out of the boy's mouth. "Come back now Aliyah" Daniel shouted.

I realised what i was doing. But what am i doing? Why am i in the water acting like this? I need to stop. i pull my thoughts together and turn around. the water was currently at the height of my nose. I began walking back to the boys . They were shouting something but i couldn't quite understand what they were shouting due to them being so far away. They were pointing at something. But what? I decided to look to see what the worry was but. i was too late. My body was thrown like a basketball up and down. My head pounding like a heartbeat after running for hoursI try screaming but no one could hear me. But the only thing i achieved was consuming the water, burning my throat and nose. My body is weak due to the waves squashing it due to the water pressure.My vision is blurry but I try to swim back up but i am hit by another wave. This time, i feel nothing. But my body is drifting in the water. I fall into a deep sleep...... And can't recall anything afterwards..............
