I can't believe I said that Misono is one of the hardest characters for me to write about and now I have like four one-shots revolving around him.

Soulmate AU in which the first words your soulmate says to you are tattooed on your wrist.

~*~

Misono never really cared much for the words tattooed on his wrist.

He never really cared much for his soulmate, as he was too busy to be caring about settling down and playing happy family with some girl he may not even know or get the chance to meet.

As of now, Misono was perfectly content with living with Lily and all of his subclass, and he thought that nothing would be able to change that.

That was, until he met (f/n).

~*~

"Why do you need so many subclass anyway?" Misono asked the butterfly resting on his shoulder, eyeing the streets in search of a lost subclass.

"Well, they're helpful for finding out important information, and I can't just leave a dying child on the streets, can I?" Lily answered, and Misono sighed.

"Yes you can, it's called 'leaving a dying child on the streets'," he replied, and Lily chuckled.

"You're so stubborn, Misono."

"Yeah, yeah," Misono said, stretching his arms in the air.

As he did so, the collar of his shirt sleeve rode up his arm, revealing the words tattooed on his wrist. Misono pulled his arm down to look at them, clicking his tongue at how mainstream they were.

'Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!'

Misono had heard this from a lot of people in the past, and considering as how none of them turned out to be his soulmate, he just assumed he would never meet her and continued living life as he normally would.

"My soulmate's first words to me are so stupid," he muttered, but loud enough for Lily to hear him.

"No, it just shows that she's a very kind person," he replied, and Misono scoffed. "Your first words to her are probably making her fear meeting you."

"Good, I never asked to have a soulmate anyway," Misono shot back, not paying attention to where he was going and bumping into a girl, their heads colliding with a light thump.

Misono staggered backwards and yelped in pain, giving the girl a death glare that could kill.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" She gasped, and Misono tutted before folding his arms in front of his chest.

"Watch where you're going, sheesh," he spat, and the girl's eyes widened in shock. "What are you looking at?"

"What did you just say?" She whispered in shock, and Misono raised an eyebrow at her.

"I said "watch where you're going, sheesh."," Misono repeated, and all of a sudden, the girl grabbed him by the wrist and yanked him towards her, not giving the purple-haired boy a chance to react or pull back before she pulled her sleeve and Misono's up, putting her wrist next to his.

Misono was about to yell at the girl, but when he read the words combined on both of their wrists - which just so happened to be the conversation they had just had - his mouth opened but no words came out.

He had finally gotten a good look at that girl, and by God, she was gorgeous. It almost made him feel sorry for the words tattooed on her wrist.

"Guess you're my soulmate, huh?" The girl spoke up, pulling herself away from Misono and going back to standing in front of him. "I'm (f/n) (l/n)."

(f/n) held her arm out for Misono to shake her hand, and Misono took her hand, but instead of shaking it, he pulled her in for a hug, one that surprised both (f/n) and Lily.

"No, I'm so sorry," Misono said, and (f/n) let out a small chuckle before hugging him back.

"No worries, they're just words after all."
