Mikuni Arisuin ~ Ice Skating

Just imagine how out of place Mikuni would be looking like someone out of Cowboy Bebop at an ice-skating rink.

"Mikuni, I'm not going out there," (f/n) stated, her eyebrows creasing in worry at the sight of the ice-skating rink before her.

"(f/n), you'll be fine," Mikuni reassured, giving his girlfriend a warm smile. "I'll make sure you don't fall over."

"I'm not worried about falling over - I've done that plenty of times - I'm worried about falling over and my skates coming off and chopping someone's face off," she replied, and Mikuni chuckled at how cute his girlfriend was being before skating effortlessly over to the wall separating (f/n) from the ice rink.

"(f/n), darlin', you've tripled knotted your skates; I'm pretty sure they won't come off anytime soon," Mikuni said, and (f/n) looked down at her triple-knotted skates, a small blush spreading across her cheeks.

"Still..." She said quietly, and Mikuni held his hand out for (f/n) to take.

"Just trust me, ok? You'll be fine," he reassured softly, smiling sweetly at (f/n).

Giving into her boyfriend's baby face, (f/n) sighed before standing up and waddling over to the door separating her from the ice rink, opening it shakily before setting foot in the ice-rink.

Losing her footing immediately, (f/n) stumbled, nearly falling over if it weren't for Mikuni catching her and placing his hands on her waist firmly to keep her on her feet.

Upon instinct, (f/n) wrapped her own arms around Mikuni's neck and the latter slowly started to guide the two of them across the ice, moving his hands up to (f/n)'s arms to hold her hands as he started to slowly let go of her.

(f/n), who was starting to get the hang of this ice-skating, didn't feel scared when Mikuni's warm hands left hers as she started to glide across the ice-rink, the look on her face making Mikuni feel so happy inside.

But when she wasn't able to stop herself and went crashing into a wall, the smile on Mikuni's face immediately disappeared as he called out (f/n)'s name and skated over to her, everybody on the rink making some room for him to access her easily.

Kneeling down next to her, Mikuni placed one hand on (f/n)'s back and the other on her knee as she sat up, rubbing her head.

"You ok?" He asked, helping (f/n) up off of the cold floor and wrapping an arm around her waist as he helped her walk over to the side door.

"Yeah, I'm ok," she answered as Mikuni set her down onto the bench, removing her hand from her head to press a gentle kiss on the bruise forming there.

"Do you wanna go home?" He asked, and (f/n) nodded, standing up after Mikuni removed her triple-knotted skates and helped her up.

Once the two got home, Mikuni ran a bath for (f/n) and told her to change into her pyjamas so they could watch shitty movies together and after spending twenty minutes in the bath, (f/n) returned to the living room to see a variety of sweets and crisps with a selection of her favourite movies placed on the table, all completed with Mikuni in a unicorn onesie.

(f/n) couldn't help but smile as she joined Mikuni on the couch, him sneaking in a few kisses as the films played.

Towards the end of the last movie, which was around two in the morning, Mikuni felt his shoulder get a bit heavy, and he looked down to see (f/n) sleeping peacefully with her head on his shoulder.

Chuckling at how cute she was, Mikuni shifted so he could pick her up from the couch and carried (f/n) upstairs to the bedroom the two of them shared, the bruise on the side of her forehead much more visible now.

Feeling sorry for her, Mikuni lightly kissed (f/n)'s bruise again before climbing into bed next to her, wrapping his arms around her from behind so he was the big spoon and she was the little spoon.

Inhaling the scent of (f/n)'s shampoo, Mikuni snuggled his face into the nape of her neck before finally falling asleep with his girlfriend right next to him.

Mikuni is actually so cool, no lie. He's one of my favourite characters in Servamp because he's just so cool.
