Sleepy Ash ~ Jealousy

Guys help, the only two characters I can come up with ideas for are Kuro and Licht.

And ha, I stole the title from one of my earlier one-shots but added a 'y' to it, come at me.

Ever since meeting the Greed pair, (f/n) was obsessed with them.

Well, she was obsessed with Lawless more than she was with Licht.

When the two first met, they just clicked straight away. Both of them were loud, crazy, funny and had a liking for Shakespeare. So it was a no-brainer to anyone that they would soon become the best of friends.

Which is exactly why Kuro didn't want (f/n) to meet Lawless in the first place.

He knew they would both get along well which annoyed the Servamp of Sloth immensely, as he hated his younger brother, Lawless.

He knew Lawless would try to take (f/n) away from him because the two had bad blood, plus he was just annoying in general. But Kuro didn't want to do anything because it would seem like he was jealous or overprotective which was most certainly out of character for the vampire.

So he sat back and let his brother snake his way into (f/n)'s brain, all the while feeling the jealousy growing in the pit of his stomach.

One day, Mahiru invited all the other Eves and Servamps round for a movie night, which Kuro didn't mind considering the fact he wouldn't have to do anything other than watch a few stupid movies.

However, he would've liked the idea a lot more if Lawless wasn't going to be involved. But there was nothing he could do to stop Mahiru from calling Licht's manager and inviting them over, to which the pair agreed to relunctantly - reluctantly for Licht anyway.

Lawless sprang on the idea immediately once he knew (f/n) was going to be there, and the two were at the Sloth pair's apartment within minutes.

"Hey guys!" Mahiru greeted happily, stepping aside to let the duo in, to which Licht grunted out a thanks while Lawless bounced in energetically.

As soon as Kuro saw Lawless in the doorway, he grabbed (f/n)'s wrist and pulled her down onto the floor in front of him and sat her on his lap with his arms wrapped securely around her waist so Lawless wouldn't be able to get to her.

(f/n) was surprised at first, but when she saw Lawless and the expression on her boyfriend's face, she soon understood that he was just worried about her, and she turned around in his lap to place her two hands on the sides of Kuro's face so she could kiss him lovingly.

Everyone thought Lawless was trying to get close to (f/n) because he had a crush on her, but he was only doing it so Kuro would actually stick up for something he loved every once in a while.

But he wasn't just going to stop at a kiss from (f/n); Lawless was going to make sure that Kuro cared for his girlfriend, otherwise what was the point of him dating her?

Kuro was starting to get annoyed.

After everyone was settled and the movie had began - Lawless seating himself down next to (f/n) so he could rest his head in her lap every so often - the latter started playing with (f/n)'s hands and admiring some of her tresses as they cascaded down her shoulders and tracing patterns on her knees just to get on Kuro's nerves.

And even though he did a very good job of hiding his jealousy and anger, (f/n) could feel Kuro's grip around her waist tightening almost to the point where she couldn't breathe.

And Kuro was so glad once Licht had fallen asleep on the end of the couch, because that meant that Lawless would have to take him home.

"Well, I should be going now," the Servamp yawned, standing up and stretching. "This angel is gonna need a proper bed to sleep in if he's gonna be in a good mood tomorrow."

"You know," (f/n) said, getting up from Kuro's lap and stretching herself. "I've never seen Licht in a good mood before; what's it's like?"

Lawless smiled a toothy grin at the girl and said: "it's the best thing ever," before slinging the Eve onto his back, locking his legs with his arms as he hoisted him further up onto his back.

And then - and fucking then - the little bitch actually had the nerve to kiss (f/n) on the cheek before bidding her, Kuro and Mahiru goodbye, as they were the last ones to leave.

Growling softly under his breath, Kuro stormed into the bedroom he shared with Mahiru, leaving the boy to clean up the mess while (f/n) ran into the room after him.

Changing into his cat form, Kuro turned his back to (f/n) and the girl knelt down behind him, stroking the place behind his ear that he liked and causing him to purr softly.

"What's going on?" She asked, and Kuro looked up at her with his big red eyes before turning around fully so she could pick him up and place him onto her lap.

"I really hate that bastard," Kuro grumbled and (f/n) giggled.

"You sound like Misono," she stated. "And are you talking about Lawless?"

Kuro nodded, which led the girl to giggle again.

"Yeah, I know he can be a handful sometimes, but you've gotta remember that he's probably just really lonely. I mean, Licht hates his guts and, most of the time, he's alone. I'm just trying to make sure that he feels happy around us because - come on - would you rather see Lawless happy or sad?"

"That's a hard question..." Kuro wondered out loud, and (f/n) flicked his tiny Neko forehead.

"Come on, I know you love him really," she teased and Kuro groaned. "Just try to cut him some slack, ok?"

Kuro hesitated but nodded anyway, and (f/n) smiled before placing a kiss to his forehead, Kuro changing back into his human form just as he felt her lips leave his skin.

"Get off of me, you're heavy," she grunted, pushing Kuro off of her before watching him lay on the ground like he was dying.

"Ow," Kuro moaned plainly, and (f/n) giggled before laying down next to him.

"It's nice to know you care about me though."
