I've actually had this idea saved on my phone for a while now but I was delaying it because I think I'm writing too much Lawless, but I'm posting it now.

Eve!Reader in this one and yes, you are Lawless' Eve for now. Let's just pretend that Licht is irrelevant...*one tear rolls down my face*

"Aww, done already, (f/n)?" Lawless asked teasingly, smirking as he watched his Eve struggle to get up off of the ground.

Blood covered the floor of the auditorium, and most of it came from (f/n).

The girl staggered to her feet as she held a hand to her bleeding arm, one eye open and the other closed - clotted by blood.

"Damn you, stupid hedgehog," she cursed weakly, and Lawless chuckled.

"Come on, (f/n)-babes, that can't be the best you've got!" The Servamp of Greed laughed, and (f/n) growled under her breath.

"You're right, you lousy animal," she snarled, preparing to charge at her Servamp. "That isn't the best I've got!"

All of a sudden, (f/n) ran up to Lawless at full speed, but the vampire was able to deflect her attack with a harsh kick to the stomach, which sent her flying back against a nearby wall with a loud thud, some of the concrete crumbling along with her body when she fell to the floor.

Lawless tutted, walking up to (f/n) with slow, menacing steps, the sound of his boots echoing off the floorboards.

"You should've known better than to pick a fight with your Servamp, sweetheart," he teased, placing a boot on (f/n)'s head and pressing down lightly, but when he heard her sniffle, he lifted his foot up off of his Eve's head.

Kneeling down next to her, Lawless placed a hand on (f/n)'s shoulder, which she shrugged away as soon as she felt the contact.

Lawless pulled his hand away, a kind of worried, confused look on his face as he watched (f/n) lift herself up off of the ground.

She wiped her face violently with her arm to wipe away the blood and tears staining her cheeks, but while the blood was gone, the tears weren't.

And when Lawless saw (f/n) actually crying, he suddenly felt really guilty.

"(f/n)-" he started, reaching out to his Eve, but she suddenly cut him off.

"You stupid hedgehog!" She screamed so loud it bounced off the walls of the auditorium and echoed throughout the empty space, burying her face into her hands and crying.

At this point, Lawless didn't know what to do.

He and (f/n) had fought like this all the time, it was a part of how they functioned together, but in all the years he had known (f/n), she had never started crying or gotten this upset over one of their fights.

So, Lawless did the only thing he could think of; he hugged her.

It wasn't uncommon for the vampire to hug (f/n), as aswell as their arguments and unsettled disputes, the two actually did have quite a strong bond.

And, as soon as her Servamp's arms wrapped around her shoulders, (f/n) cried even harder, and hugged him back so that she was crying right next to his ear.

Lawless' hand found its way into her (hair colour) locks and, soon enough, he was stroking her hair while shushing her gently.

"I'm sorry," he said, and he actually sounded pretty darn sincere. "I didn't know it hurt that much; I only pick fights with you because I think you can handle it, because you're strong, you know?"

(f/n)'s cries turned to sobs, and her sobs turned to sniffles as Lawless slowly let go of her, wiping the remainder of her tears away.

"Are you ok now?" He asked sweetly, and instead of answering, (f/n) punched him really hard in the chest.

"Oof!" He grunted, rolling over on the floor in pain. "I deserved that."

Oh don't mind me, just sinning my life away here.

Also, the auditorium is like the only place I can imagine Lawless being because idk.
