Ryusei just doesn't have a last name, like I've looked everywhere and he just doesn't have a last name, which kind of ruins the titles for all of my one-shots. Why, Ryusei, why?

"Ryusei!"

Upon hearing his name, Ryusei turned around to see his best friend, (f/n) running up to him.

Stopping to let her catch up, the boy stretched his arms round the back of his head and rested them behind his neck as he gave the girl a small smile.

"What's up, (f/n)?" He asked, the two of them starting to walk to their next class together.

"I was hoping if you wanted to study with me tonight, seeing as we have that maths test tomorrow morning," she asked, and Ryusei contemplated over the thought before looking over at (f/n) and nodding.

"Yeah, that sounds cool," he agreed, and (f/n)'s smile widened.

"Awesome, come round my house at eight," she concluded, waving at Ryusei before heading into her next class, leaving the latter a smiling mess.

Ryusei, unlike others, was gifted with the ability to play it cool whenever his crush was around, or just to play it cool in general.

While others would freak out and start blushing and stuttering, therefore revealing their crush, Ryusei would simply nod and give short and simple answers, and no one would suspect a thing.

"Hey, Ryusei, you coming to the station tonight? Sakuya lost a bet and now he has to sing the girliest song he knows," Mahiru asked before the four friends were about to go their separate ways.

As fun as that sounded, Ryusei did promise (f/n) that he would study with her, and that was what he intended to do.

"Sorry, Mahiru, I promised (f/n) I would study with her for that maths test tomorrow," he turned down, and Sakuya wolf-whilstled.

"Look at you, sly dog," he teased, nudging Ryusei in the arm with an ugly smirk on his face. "In case of an emergency, break out the Netflix."

Ryusei karate chopped Sakuya in the head before telling Mahiru to take loads of videos for blackmail purposes and running off back to his house so he could get ready for his study session with (f/n). He didn't want to go wearing something too flashy, as it would be obvious that he was trying to impress her, so he ended up going in his school uniform, but made sure to change his red headband to a (favourite colour) one just for (f/n).

Once he was ready, he packed all of his textbooks into his bag and walked to (f/n)'s, knocking the door a few times before the said girl answered, a sweet smile plastered across her face.

"Hey, Ryusei," she greeted nicely, stepping to the side to let the boy in and closing the door behind him.

She then started going on about the food they have in the house if he wants anything and to excuse the mess for they were having a clear-out. But Ryusei couldn't concentrate on what she was saying because he couldn't stop staring at her outfit.

Even though (f/n) was just wearing casual clothing, she somehow managed to look incredibly good looking in it which made the boy fall for her even more.

"Hello~, Earth to Ryusei," (f/n) suddenly said, waving her hand in front of her best friend's face, bringing him back to reality.

When she saw the blank look on his face, she giggled, and Ryusei couldn't help but smile.

"Come on, I've got everything set up in my room," she beckoned, taking ahold of Ryusei's hand lightly before walking upstairs with him in tow.

The two sat down on (f/n)'s comfy bed before flicking open the textbooks and cans of energy drink and getting down to work, joking and laughing most of the time.

At one point, Ryusei ensued a tickle fight with (f/n) which resulted in her hitting her head on her chest of drawers and Ryusei being super worried even though she was laughing the whole thing off.

At around eleven at night, (f/n) ended up falling asleep with her head resting on Ryusei's shoulder and the latter began finding it really hard to concentrate with her warm breath tickling his neck every so often and her soft hair running down his arm, so he cleared the bed of all the textbooks and mess before carefully picking (f/n) up bridal style and laying her down softly onto her bed.

Just as he was about to pack up his things and leave, (f/n) reached out in her sleep and, unknowingly, grabbed his tie, yanking him back down onto the bed.

Ryusei simply chuckled before lightly grabbing (f/n)'s hand and untangling it from his tie, admiring the peaceful look on her face before kissing her on the forehead and bidding her goodnight.

On the way home, Ryusei safely decided that that was by far the greatest study session ever.

*Extended Ending*

"Hey, look, Ryusei - you got a 78!" (f/n) exclaimed, pointing to Ryusei's name on the results board.

"Huh," Ryusei raised an eyebrow and nodded in approval, his hands in his trouser pockets as he gave (f/n) a lopsided smile. "But you got a 93."

"What can I say?" The girl shrugged. "Must've been that kiss you gave me last night."

Ryusei's face flushed a million shades of red as (f/n) winked at him, giggling soon after.

"Y-you knew?!"
