Falling back

Chapter 4

Nina POV

    I pick up my phone and call my manager Keith (I don't really know if it's a girl or a guy so I'm guessing it's a guy). "Hey Keith it's me Nina" "Hey Nina what's up" "I was wondering if I could take the TVD job back?" I'm hoping he says yes "Well if you want it would be good because fans are wondering if you are coming back" "So is that a yes?" "Yup do you want me to call Julie or you" "I'll call her, bye Keith".

    I hang up and call Julie, "Hey Julie!" "Neens!!! Hey how are you? Have you thought about my offer yet?" I can tell she's biting her nails "Yeah I have and I'm happy to say that I'll come back" she screams quietly then says "OMG!!!! REALLY THIS BETTER NOT BE A PRANK NINA!" "I'm not, promise" "Ok great because this might be the last season and it wouldn't be better with a Delena reunion".

    When she says 'Delena' my heart just stinks. Yes there will be a Delena reunion but there will also be a Ian and Nina reunion not Nian as in together but only Nina and Ian two separate people not one.

     "Nina you still there" "Uh yeah" "Oh you should come and get drinks with me and some of the cast" I think about this it would be great to see everyone but Ian might be there but I don't care. "Yeah sure where?" "Drai's see you there in 10-15 minutes" "Ok bye see you there" and I hang up.

    I go in my closet and get a dark blue dress with a white purse and get in my car.

(At the bar)

    When I get out of my car a bunch of paparazzi come and ask me questions and flash their camera in my face. Once I'm inside I go and wait by the bar, then the door opens and the whole cast of TVD comes in and sits at a table hide my face until I feel someone puts a hand on my shoulder. It's Julie, she gives me a smile then we talk.
    Someone's eye catches mine at one of the tables and I know who those icy blue eye's belong to.

Ian Somerhalder

    My breath hitches then Julie looks at me with concern by I give her a fake smile then tell her I'm going to the bathroom. I look over my shoulder and see she's going to the table then I see someone kiss Ian's cheek. Nikki. My heart ached, when I was in the bathroom I remind myself I'm not jealous and that he's married and I'm happily single.

    After all of that I went back outside and grabbed another drink. I look around and see people drinking, laughing, talking, and drunk. Julie tries to wave me over no one notices but I shake my head and continue to drink then a tall figure stands behind me.

    "Hey pretty lady can I buy you a drink" I hate it when people hit on me, "No thanks I already have one" trying to let him down easy but he seems not to take no for an answer "Come on one drink won't hurt" I get up and walk away but he grabs my wrist pulling me back. He's a little drunk so his grip is a little loose so I pull my hand back then say "I said no thanks" but this guy doesn't get the damn idea "Oh come on I know you like me" I can tell the TVD table is looking at me.   

    This guy is really stupid, he's swaying back and forth a little bit and he's getting on my nerves. The next thing he does gets me really off edge he grabs my waist and pulls me against him, I knee him where it counts then he groans and falls down. I straighten out my outfit and go out to the back.

    Tears start to fall on my cheek I didn't realize that I was crying. I sit on a bench and look out and see trees and I hear the ocean. "Why do all the stupid guys hit on my, why? I had a perfect guy but then I let him go cause I wasn't 'ready'" no one is out here so they can't hear me, more tears start to fall and I let them. 

    I reach into my purse and pull out a necklace, it was a birthday present from Ian he told me he found it a pond shop. It was a heart shaped locket, I opened it and it was a picture of me and him kissing. Whenever I'm sad or mad I would always look at this locket and open it to remind me good things happen all the time. I put it on and just look out towards the trees.

    A good 30 minutes I decide that it's probably better if I leave. I go back in and notice the TVD cast is still there laughing and talking. I walk past unnoticed but those one pair of blue eyes always fine mine and they look at the locket.

(At home)

    Finally home and wiped off all my make up and brushed my teeth and did all that fun stuff, when I'm done I get into bed and check my phone and see one text.

    "Why are you wearing the necklace?"
