Nina POV
When Ian comes in with balloons and flowers everyone quiets down and look at him. "I...Ian what are you doing here" it's not that I'm not happy to see him just shocked to see him. "Well it's basically my fault that Nikki tried to kill you so I'm here to give you gifts and say sorry".
I give him a smile and he returns one back, "Hey Phoebe, Paul can Ian and I talk alone for a little bit.". They nod and leave the room. A minute of silence passes with Ian sitting in the chair next to my bed, we just stare down at our hands. The Ian says "I'm sorry" I look up from my hands into those bright blue eyes "I'm sorry for everything, for leaving you, for dating your ex-bestfriend, and for making you leave TVD..." I interrupt him"Ian listen to me one you didn't leave me, you were ready to settle down and I wasn't. Two I was hurt when you..... started to date Nikki but everything was good, and three you didn't make me leave TVD it was my choice I wanted to be in more projects and I did".
He looks at me and then he grabs my hand a tingling feeling runs through my body, it's been forever since we've held hands or made physical contact. Ian smiles up at me and moves closer to me I'm to shocked to move or do anything. "Me and Nikki got a divorce" he says quietly I should be feeling bad for him but I'm not. "How do you feel" he makes his signature smirk "Well I don't know part of me is sad that my marriage didn't work out but part of me is relieved to be not married to her anymore, Nikki was pretty, kind, and sweet but a part of me just said that she wasn't the right person for me".
I look at him then down at our hands that are still connected then with my other hand before I can think goes up to his face and holds it making him look at me, "Then who is the right person for you?" my voice is shaking so much he takes his hand out of my grasp for a second I thought I screwed everything up but just touching his face but then both of his hands are on my face.
His face inches forwards a little bit until it's centimeters away from mine I could feel his hot breath on my face when he spoke "You"
