Crappy chapter. Sorry guys, I have writer's block :P

My feet slapped against the concrete, the tears filling my eyes making my vision cloud dangerously. I was terrified of myself and what I had done; I had hit someone…I was just a bad as him. I had broken my promise to myself, to mom, and even to my sister.
A sudden horn blaring made me look up, headlights blinding me as a frightened scream escaped my lips. A body collided with mine and I went tumbling out of the way, my limbs trembling with fear along with the impact. I was still being pressed into the asphalt on the border of the street, the man on top of me letting out a small grunt and pushing himself up to kneel beside me instead. I bit my lip at the sight of his scruffy hair, stubble, and blue green eyes that shone with worry; he was hot.
“Are you alright, love?” he asked softly, his voice on the higher side but laced with a rasp that sent a shiver down my spine. I simply stared at him, unable to bring my body to respond.
“Can you speak?” My mouth opened and closed unattractively, a car zipping by us and suddenly bringing me out of my shocked state with a loud sob. “Babe…” His strong arms looped around me, hugging me tight as he stood up and walked over to the bench off to the side.
“You’re al-“ he began to reassure when a loud voice interrupted him.
“BRINLEE!” Liam yelled, darting across the street to where we were. “Lou, what happened?”
Lou? Liam knew this ‘Lou?’
“She was almost hit,” the man holding me sighed, hugging me tighter as I let out another loud sob. “Poor thing was distraught when I found her. Running and crying…it was awful.”
“Is she alright?” Liam asked worriedly, crouching in front of us. “Is she hurt?”
“She won’t speak to me,” Lou sighed. “We can go back to yours and I can take a look; make sure she’s all good?” The boys nodded in agreement and I was carried to a car, the whole trip a blur as we reached Liam’s house once again. I was sent on a plush surface, small whispers being heard around me and I realized they thought I was asleep. I tried to keep my breathing level, my mind becoming more aware as they spoke quietly.
“This is her sister?” Louis asked softly, rough fingertips flitting over my body as he poked and prodded me in a way that was almost methodical.
“Mmhm…”
“Have you told her yet?”
Told me what?
“Nah, mate,” Liam groaned. “She’s had enough heartache for now. I honestly don’t know if she would live through another trauma…she’s delicate as it is.”
“But it’s her right to know about her own sister-“ the man above me began when his hand made contact with a sensitive spot on my head, a yelp clawing from my throat and eyes springing open.
“O-ow,” I whimpered, looking up at both the faces looking down at me worriedly.
“Mate, can you hold her while I take a look?” the man asked, leaning back to give his friend room. I was scooped into a strong embrace, my face automatically burying in the crook of his neck as he swayed slightly.
“I’m sorry I’m so weak,” I mumbled quietly, my lip quivering as fingers gently searched the back of my head, a reassuring coo being uttered as I flinched. I could hear them speaking to me but I slowly faded away, my body exhausted and refusing to carry on. As I relaxed into unconsciousness though, the only thing I could think about was the boys’ conversation. I was going to get the bottom of what happened to her and whoever got in my way would have hell to pay…
