Chapter Thirteen

i'm so sorry for the late update ,i was busy with school and stuff

Addison's Pov

i managed to push away the only person that made me feel whole again ,and i'm not so sure if he'll come back

after getting ready for another day in campus ,i walked to the kitchen to find Em sitting on a stool sipping from a cup of coffee ,and from the look on her face i knew today is the day she asked about the nightmares

"good morning "i said walking to get myself a cup of coffee

"Addison..."

i cut her off "i had bad experiences happening to me in the past ,and unfortunately they're stuck with me in a form of nightmares "i said finding it hard to talk past the lump in my throat

her eyes widened and i fought to keep the tears at bay ,i cried enough in the bathroom already ,she walked quickly around the counter and held me in her arms

i held on tight trying to find a comfort and peace that i knew only Dean can give me

At the thought of him the tears started falling freely and a sob broke free

"he's gone "i cried on Em's shoulder unable to stop myself from breaking apart

she held me as i cried and sobbed ,and after a while i finally calmed down finding myself sitting on the floor with Emma

"i'm so sorry "i started but she gave me a look to shut up

"you have nothing to be sorry about ,you don't have to be strong all the time ,you're only human "

i nodded smiling gratefully

"now tell me what happened between you and my brother ,he was really pissed when he left this morning "

i took a deep breath resting my head back against the wall and bringing my knees up "he wanted answers that i'm not ready to give yet "

she sighed "he isn't the most patient person "she rested her head on the wall next to me

"what am i going to do ?"

"you have to give him time Addison .this is new to him ,the whole dating thing "she turned her head toward me "he really likes you ,and i'm sure he'll try to be patient just for you "she squeezed my knee before getting up and groaning "i have French now ,i don't know what i was thinking taking that class ,i'm failing it "

i laughed "don't worry i'll help you "

she smiled gratefully "you're the best "she walked away to her room throwing "A bientôt "over her shoulders

i was heading to my first class when three girls stepped in front of me ,i recognized Dina who was in the middle of the girls 

"he's mine so you better stay away from him bitch "she said with venom in her voice 

"what ?"i asked my face blank

"Dean Collins is mine "she scowled and i sighed in irritation "he's just going to screw you then throw you away "

"just like he did with you ?"i replied crossing my arms and throwing the niceness away
