Chapter four

I haven't talked to Dean since Monday ,how did i manage that ?i simply avoided him like the plague 

I knew he was trouble the first time he gave me that smirk ,he's not like the other guys that hit on me ,he can see right through my eyes and i did the only thing that can to save my heart which is running away 

"Addison "a voice interrupted my thoughts and i looked over seeing our dance instructor Mr Gomez  staring at me along with the other dancers "pay attention "he ordered 

"sorry "i muttered blushing from the stares

"as i was saying the winter showcase is at the doors ,you know the prize will be a scholarship ,so who think is ready chose a partner and come sign your name "he said gesturing to the table where there was a women sitting ,most of the students went in line to sign there names and i just stood there 

do i want to participate in this competition ?it's not like i need the scholarship ,but setting my mind on this will help getting distracted from other things that i need to escape .i know i need to do this 

i took a deep breath and went to sign my name ,i returned to my spot and caught Mr Gomez smiling my way proudly ,he gestured with his finger for me to come over and i walked over to him confused ,the other students were all busy talking excitedly over the show 

"i'm glad you signed up Addison "he smiled "who's going to be your partner ?"he asked 

"shit "i cursed "i forgot to chose a partner "

he grinned "i'm glad you did "he said and when i gave him a confused look he gestured at the guy standing awkwardly next to him "because Jared is going to be your partner "

i looked at the guy who i never saw in this class this past week and he looked older ,maybe a senior 

"oh-Kay"i said confused as hell 

the instructor laughed "Jared is one of the best dancers i had in my class ,and i think you'll be great partners "

"but why not just partner up with someone from my class ?"i said and looked at Jared "no offense "

"none taken "he smiled and i noticed how hot he is ,he had a lean body of a swimmer and killer looks ,his black hair was short but it suited him just great with those hot chocolate brown eyes 

"No one in this class will be a great match to you Addison "Mr Gomez cut through my ogling "you have a talent and Jared here will help you show it "he smiled clapping his hands "i'll let you two know each other ,then you can chose your routine "he patted my shoulder and walked away .our instructor was gorgeous ,i mean you can see all the girls in our class following his every move ,he was a hot Italian .

"we should see what we'll get for our routine "Jared said leading me to a table where there was a bowl with pieces of papers 

he pulled one and frowned "it's a sad story about someone losing the love of their live and not being able to let go "he said and i was frozen ,it's like he narrated the story of my life "it's going to need a lot of emotions "he said 

"i'll be able to do it "i said in a sad voice ,i'm sure i can dance without trying to act because i'll be showing  just how i'm truly feeling.
