"Can I help you with something?" Renae asks as she makes her way to her front door looking at him waiting for his response. He makes no movement. Renae creates a fake smile and fastens her pace towards the front door. As she gets her keys out of her handbag she hears footsteps behind her. Her anxiety quickens and she tries to open the door as fast as she can. She feels a tug at her wrist as he pulls her close to him. "Leave me alone!" Renae raises her voice as she fails to attempt to pull away. Renae looks into his eyes deeply...scared but fond of how they catch her attention.

She shrugs off her thoughts and lifts up her leg kicking him in the stomach. He suddenly lets go of her wrist holding in the pain in his stomach and Renae runs to the door as she opens it and runs in quickly and locks it. She hears pounding on her door as she sits beside it with her back against the door. She reaches for her phone in her back pocket and checks the time. 5:30. Her mom should be getting home soon. She gets up and walks upstairs to her room and plops herself down on her bed sighing. She then hears a the door open slightly from down stairs. She gets up quickly and walks toward the railing to see downstairs. The door is half way open...enough for a person to come in. Everything sinks into Renae as she gets up quickly and runs to her parents rooms. She goes into their closet and locks herself inside. Renae reaches for her phone in her back pocket and puts it to silent as she texts Ginnet that she probably won't be able to make it to her swimming party. She puts her phone away and leans into the door listening carefully. All of a sudden her phone vibrates. She picks it up and looks at the message "Stop hiding friend..I want to play".

Renae got up quickly and backed up against the wall. Her heart beating faster and her breathing getting shaky. She then heard footsteps getting closer to the closet. Renae couldn't help but think the worst. She went and hid behind the pile of dirty clothes and waited for him to come in.

The closet door opened and he came in pacing back and forth in the closet knocking things down. Renae held her breath as she expected for him to knock down the pile of clothes, but instead he exited the closet as Renae heard his footsteps fading.

She got up and walked out of the closet still cautious and looking around. She could hear him in the kitchen looking through one of the drawers. Renae walked out of her parents room and made her way going down the stairs not knowing what she was thinking. As she walked down the final step everything went quiet in the kitchen. She froze as well. Footsteps wandered around the kitchen until the stopped at the end of the kitchen where the backstairs were. Renae got up and made her way to the living room not knowing what to do she stood up against the wall keeping quiet.

All of a sudden he appeared right in front of her and caught her gasp. "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" Renae screamed attempting to lose his grip on her shoulders. He didn't make a move and only moved his hands down to her thighs. "STOP!" Renae yelled and kicked him in the balls as she ran away from him and made her way up the backstairs. "YOU ARENT GETTING AWAY!" He shouted and ran after Renae. As he caught Renae at the end of the stairs he looked her in the eye but looked away quickly. Renae looked down and nodded her head. "Leave me alone!" She said as she got up and walked down the stairs into the foyer. He got up and made his way out the door while Renae locked it behind him. A sigh of relief and anger left her as she made her way to the kitchen to pick up.

As she started to throw out the trash everything went black. "Seriously?!" Renae thought to herself grabbing the flashlight in the cabinet behind the backstairs. She turned it on and suddenly heard two gunshots. Her body froze as she heard the glass to the family room shatter.
