"I'm sorry Brent. You're just not right for me." I spoke solemnly.

"Wait what? I thought we had something, a spark." He said back, shocked. I shook my head, and grabbed my purse.

"Bye Brent." I whispered. I walked towards the front door. I drove to my best friends house. On my way over I began crying. I hadn't wanted to break up with him, but it had to happen. He obviously wasn't the right guy.

I parked in front of the house. I pulled out the key that Josh gave me, and unlocked the door to his house. "Josh?!" I called out, hearing his name bounce off the wall and hit me again. Suddenly I heard a door open and Josh came down the steps, tiredly.

"Hey Y/N- what happened?" He asked once he saw my red, puffy eyes.

"We broke up." My voice rang in my ears. A tear rolled down my face and Josh wrapped me in his arms.

"It's okay. It's okay." His voice soothes my nerves and I stopped crying. He lifted me off my feet, and carried me bridal style to his room. He plopped me on his bed and turned on the stereo.

He laid down next to me. After a while of singing along to Panic! At The Disco, he pulled my chin up. He looked into my eyes and leaned in. Without hesitation I kissed back.

"Damn Josh. I think I love you." I giggled after he pulled away.

"Good." He said and pulled me into a hug.  We fell asleep shortly after, and I felt the safest I had ever felt.
