TRIGGER WARNING,SELF HARM, SUICIDE

I run into the bathroom, slamming the door shut. I look at myself in the mirror, tears streaming down my face. I can't take it anymore. I'm not winning this fight. I swing open the cabinets looking for a new one. Of course my room mate hid them all. I had a secret stash though. I threw everything to the floor; hairspray, shaving cream, toilet paper. Everything. I finally reach the back of the cabinet and see the shiny silver blade. I tore open the package. I knew Josh would be home soon. I had to act now.

I held the tiny razor in my hand, and held it to my forearm. I sliced downward. I screamed in pain, as the blood trickled to the floor. I moved down until I was right on the vein. Just as I pressed down the door swung open. I looked up to see the yellow haired boy staring at me. He looked at the blood splattered floor, at my arm, at the razor, and back at me. He stared right into my eyes.

"Please. Please don't do this." He spoke, trying to keep his voice steady. I sat there with tears still streaming down my cheeks, not daring to move. "I was once at this point to, Y/N. It's not worth it. Please. Put down the blade." He said sternly.

I slowly moved the blade away from my wrist. Almost instantly Josh was grabbing it and throwing his shirt onto my bleeding arm. He knew there wasn't time to grab a towel or anything. He pushed down on the cuts, trying to make the blood stop. After ten minutes of this he finally stopped. He lifted me up, and I swayed, dizzy from the loss of blood. He hugged me close to his chest. "Never, do this again. Please." He said his voice now quite shaky.

"Josh,  how'd you know this was happening?" I asked, trembling.

"Just a feeling." He said. "But please, keep living. Please."
