As I slam my car door shut, I think about the long day ahead. I stepped into the elevator and looked at the time.

7:55.

At least I was on time today. I hit the floor seven button and waited for the doors to close. I closed my eyes and the elevator started moving, causing me to lurch forward. I heard the ding, indicating I was at my floor. I walked out and moved quickly to my office, trying to avoid my boss. He was pretty cute, but it is strictly forbidden for co workers to date. Just as I sat down, I heard his voice, "Y/N, can I speak to you in my office please?"

Worried, I followed him down the hall, to an open door. I walked in before him, and he shut the door behind him. "Mr. Dun, what happened?" I asked. He sighed, and I swept a strand of Y/C/H out of my face. He sighed.

"I'm afraid, I must fire you. You are constantly late, and barely get any work done." He explained, a tinge of sadness to his eyes.

"But, Mr. Dun, I can't get fired, this is all I have." I begged, "There must be some way for me to stay." Mr. Dun pondered the question, squinting his brown eyes. Then he chuckled, and looked at me.

"I suppose, but only if you go on a date with me." Mr. Dun smirked. I gasped, but smiled.

"Well if it's the only way!" I said, with a giggle. I got up and left, leaving my phone number behind.
