I ran into the woods, tears running down my face. I jump over some bushes, and duck under some branches, completely ignoring the voices calling after me. I finally get to the clearing where the old tree house is. Here, everything is peaceful. Josh and I had built it when we were little, with his grandpa.

"Josh." I called out, hoping he would poke his head out.

"Come up here!" He shouted back. I scurried up the steps to it. Yes there are stairs, instead of a ladder.

"Hi Josh." I said, and he looked at me.

"What happened?" He asked sympathetically.

"Josh, my parents, they got mad at me, and and they kicked me out." I spoke, my voice quivering.

He hugged me. "Hey hey. We can live here. My dad will give us some supplies, I'm sure, and we can live together. Happily!" He calmed me down. "Oh, and I've been meaning to do this for a while." He then pressed his lips to mine. I kissed back. He pulled away, and pulled me into his lap. We sat there for the rest of the day.
