Epilogue

"Okay Ray why did you call a family meeting?" Nicki asked as she and seven pips gathered in the study a few nights later.

"I have gathered you all here to discuss a very pressing matter." Ray Ray said clasping his hands and setting them on the study table.  Everyone was sitting around it. He took a breath for suspense then said. "I believe that it is time to change our . . . name.  'Pips' sounds -and I'm sorry to say this Mom -it sounds dumb."

Nicki as well as the other pips gasped. "But Ray it's such a cute nickname.  I call you guys pips because you're so small and cute." She said to her eldest.

Ray Ray cleared his throat. "Well as you can see Mother we are no longer so small." He argued.

Nicki rolled her eyes. "But you're still my little babies.  Come on," She looked at the others, "Do the rest of you think that we should change your name?" She asked.

"I think Pips is pretty nice." Leigh-Anne said.

"No no no no.  We are changing the name!" Ray Ray yelled. "Suggestions for other names are now open.  Let me start.  How about we call ourselves 'The Army'."

Jade rolled her eyes. "Oh brother." She muttered.

"I think what you meant to say is oh older brother." He challenged her. "Don't talk unless it's a suggestion missy."

"Oohh I have one! Pick me!" Perrie cried raising her hand in excitement.

"Yes Pez." Ray Ray said pointing at her.

"We can be called 'The Bunnies!'" She yellled.  She started doing a hopping motion in her seat. "I think it suits we 'cause Ray's braids look like sad rabbit ears." She gasped. "Ray Ray are you a sad rabbit in disguise?" She covered her mouth. "Do you want me to get you a carrot?"

Ray Ray sighed as Nicki cooed about how precious Perrie was.

"I like that name.  The Bunnies sounds cute." Leigh said thoughtfully.

Jesy rolled her eyes and fake gagged. "I think we should be called Jesy Force." She nodded as if she was awesome.

Ray shook his head. "No."

Jesy frowned. "What?  I bet if we have a vote right now every one will want Jesy force rather than The Army.  Bozos back me up."

Prod and Roc started nodding. "Yep Jesy Force is awesome." "Jesy Force rules." "We love Jesy Force."

Jesy nodded again, looking smug.

"How about we just not have a name?" Jade said softly. "This isn't a friggin band."

Nicki silenced them all. "Okay I think I should just come up with a more mature name since this is clearly going nowhere." She pondered for a moment then grinned big. "Okay so you guys are growing up . . . you're basically like tweens right? So how about we call you the Twips?!"

"Ahhhh I love it!" Leigh-Anne squeeled.

"Isn't that the name of a chocolate bar?" Jesy asked.

"Yay it sounds just like our old name!" Perrie cried excitedly. She suddenly looked sad. "Oh but I miss Pips now.  Change it back! Change it back!" She looked like she might cry.

"We like chocolate too Jesy." Prod and Roc said together.

Jade sighed. "Yippie . . . I really don't care about this."

Ray Ray face palmed. "You know what?  Fine!  The Twips the Pips call us what y'all want. Meeting adjorned.  Go to bed everyone."

He covered his face and shook his head as everyone started leaving.

"Don't look so down Ray it's not that deep." Nicki said patting him on the head.  "Goodnight babe." She kissed his cheek.

Everyone was gone leaving the study quiet.  Ray Ray sighed as he looked at the chairs they left unoccupied.  He thought for a moment about spending the night in here. He shook his head.  It was just that his room was lonely since Princeton was away. He didn't like being in it anymore.

He missed his best friend, his brother.  In fact he'd called this dumb meeting to delay the going to bed process. He had no idea how long Princeton would be away.  The last thing he had from him was blurry vision in his left eye.  He was going to get surgery for that soon.

"Oh well he'll come back eventually.  And all will be good again." Ray Ray got to his feet.  He turned out the light to the study and was closing the door when he heard a loud yell from upstairs.

"I'M BLEEDING!!!!!!!!!!" Jesy's voice screamed.

"MUM IT'S HAPPENING!!!! IT'S REALLY HAPPENING!!!!!!!!" Leigh cried.

Ray Ray cringed.  Couldn't this have happened after he was safely back in his room?

"Oh My God! I'm coming guys.  Let me just get some tampons!!  Or wait maybe pads!" Nicki screamed from her own bedroom.

"Why is Jesy bleeding Mummy?  Whats going on?" Perrie screamed too.  She was obviously just yelling since everyone else was.

Ray Ray shook his head.  It was going to be a long night.

A/N

So we've come to the end of another NATP story.  This one was just as fun to write as the first. I'm sorry if it ended kind of abruptly but my next set of plans for the characters need to happen when they're a bit older.

That said, you guessed it there is going to be a third story called Nicki & The Twips!  YAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!  It should be the last book in this series and I hope it comes out as good as the first two.  I've alredy started writing it so hopefully it should be posted soon.  Maybe even later this week. *squeals in excitement* If you guys want to please look out for it.

My favourite charater this time was probably still Jade but I was really feeling Leigh and Jes too.  Plus I found writing about Zachary Malaki fun.  Calum was also interesting.  And I loved showing more of the wonder that is Perrie.
