Emma's POV
I sat at the kitchen island texting Josh,Connor and my new best friend Echo. My mom & John are gone on a business trip for a week , Jessica is at a friends house for the week so I'm alone yay!.
I heard a knock at the door, I wasn't expecting anyone today but whatever, I walked to the door I opened it slowly I stopped it half way, I looked down at the Ground
"Hello...Emma " A man's voice said, I froze, I know that voice, it can't be who I think it is , please don't be him, I looked up at his face.
My eyes widened,
My heart started beating faster,
My chest felt like it was gonna cave in.
It's My Father.
"H-hi" I said freaking out
"Is your mom home ?" He asked
"N-no" I said, why me
"Listen I need a favor " he said
"What is it " I said scared
" I don't have any where to go can I stay here " He asked
"Um I um " I paused I looked at him he's very scary and intimidating, I can't say no "sure just till my mom gets back " I finished walking away from the door he walked in.
I ran upstairs to my room, I locked the door, I started crying in fear.
Why is he back,
How did he find me,
What does he want,
I called my mom.
"Hello " she said
"M-mom you have to come Home right now" I said my words trembling
"Why?! what's wrong?!?!" she asked sounding worried
"Cause dad is back, in the house downstairs " I said crying
"WHat! Where are you? "She asked
"In my room " I said
"I don't know what to do, I can't come back until the week is up " she said
"You better try " I said
"I will don't worry " she said
" I have to go " I said
"I Love You, Be Safe " She said
"I Love You to Be Safe " I said, I hung up I wiped my eyes.
I walked downstairs, Looking around the house. I walked Into the kitchen I seen Him sitting at the island, drinking beer, Of Course.
"Hey Emma" He said, I looked down
"Hi" I said quietly, this just like when I was growing up.
"Nice house" He said taking a sip
"Thanks" I said, I opened the fridge There wasn't anymore beer left he took the last one , I need to lock the wine cellar.
" we're you always this quiet ?" he asked
"Yes, You would know that if you kept your head out of the toilet bowl" I said
"Don't Smart off to me " He said
"I'm sorry " I said
" it's fine" He said
I walked to the wine cellar I locked and hide the key. What am I supposed to do about him .
I walked to the kitchen I texted Connor and Josh, Josh wants to come over and get him out of here but I told him no.
"Um Your room is over there just in case you were wondering " I said as I Pointed to the room beside the living room next Jessica
"okay, you know it's good to be back " He said as he got up
"Yep" I lied, God help me.
*the next day*
I still can't believe that he's back why is he back. I just got home from School I'm sitting in the island doing homework.
"Hey Emma, Need help ?" he asked
"No I got it " I said
"Okay, I was thinking we could go do something today " He said as he grabbed some water
"No I've got alot to do today " I said
"Oh okay " He said walking to the living room.
"Yeah " I said
