Emma's POV

Once that older woman heard me say "Hi Dad" she walked back

"I'm sorry who are you ? " she asked nicely I stood up wiped my tears

" I'm Emma " I said she gasped and  started tearing a little

" pardon my asking but who's your father " she said

" My mom said that Mike Henry was but I've also got two stepdads " I said

" what's your middle name ? " she asked

" Grace, why? " I asked

"Your mom's Annie Evans right " she asked

" Yeah but Evans was her maiden name " I told her

" Honey I'm Debbie Henry, your grandmother " she said grabbing my hand

" really" I asked surprised

"Yes " she said crying I hugged her, I never got to meet any of my grandmother's because of my dad (Jack)

" and I'm your Aunt Maria " Maria said hugging me after I pulled away from Debbie

" It's so nice to meet you guys" I said wiping my tears

"Say you hungry baby " Debbie said

" Yes I am actually " I said

"Emma I've got to get the venue " John said

"Okay I'll see you later " I said as he walks away

Me, Maria, Debbie, all went to Maria's house to eat once we got there a lot of my family I didn't even know about was there, I met all of them, there really nice people.

" so what happened after my dad died ?" I asked, while sitting on the pouch.

" Your mom left went back to Portland, I wasn't made at her for it she didn't know what to do that was her only option. Your father was a great man, a family man always wanted a little girl named Emma Grace. That's why I cried when I found out who you we're, you two look identical. Your mother and me where very close she was like a daughter to me she losted it when she received the later saying he was dead " she said sipping her Ice Tea

" did she come to the funeral? " I asked while eating a french fye from my plate

" she did, she had already started dating her second husband " Debbie said

" We're mom and Mike ever married ?" I asked

" they were, they married just before he left for his first and last battle" she said

"How did he die" I asked

" was shot in the side right under his heart, the bullet severed arteries near his heart and he bled out " she said breathing shakily .

" I'm sorry " I said

"It's alright dear, today was the 18th anniversary of his death " she said

" Really ?" I asked

" Yep," She said

" I wish I could have met him " I said looking

"I wish you got to dear " she said grabbing my hand and holding it.

" Im really glad we met " I said smiling

" me to honey, now tell me about Jack " she asked

" yeah when I met him I thought he was a bit of an ass" she said, Dang Debbie 

"he was, he is, " I paused "when I little like eight years old. He lost his job, he was a accountant and he was a good one but company lost money which means they had to let some of them go. We had money saved but he gambled and drank it all way then he became abusive, then when I was 15 he left " I said choking back tears

" Oh Honey that's awful, I'm so sorry " she said

" It's Okay " I paused " I'm over it " I smiled while I lied.

" That's good " she said

" yeah... look I'm so glad you had me over and told me everything but I've got to it going back to my hotel " I said as stood up to hug her.

We hugged and exchange numbers. I got in a cab and had them drive me to the Venue. The boys should doing sound check. I got to the venue they haven't open there doing soundcheck. I walked inside after telling the security who I was, I walked to the fourth row and sat down, I seen Luke and Michael, Ashton, Calum I don't see Caitlin (remember her from the first book) Lord I haven't talk to her in months.

" Emma!!!" Calum yelled jumping off the stage and running towards with Ashton and Michael following him.

I smiled and stood up having my arms open wide for them to hug, they all hugged me and almost knocked me down.

" I missed you guys!! " I said after we pulled away from the hug

" well maybe If you texted us and not acted like you died you wouldn't miss us as much " Calum said laughing I joined in as well

" I will Cal " I said

" how have you been ? " Ashton asked

" Um well things go from shit to total shit Strom " I said

" Emma is everything alright?  " Michael asked

"Yes I'm fine " I lied, I'm definitely not fine.

" Great " Ashton said smiling

I looked over at Luke as he looked at me then walked away " How's Ass-Hat " I said crossing my arms looking away thinking why do I even care?.

" he's doing good " Calum said

" yeah, he's got a new-" Michael tried to say but Ashton stopped him

" got a new what ?" I Asked

" oh nothing, " Ashton said

" are you staying for the show ?" Calum asked

" I don't think so " I said

" aw come on please " Michael begged

" guys I can't it's to hard " I said looking down not wanting to upset them

" Em, it's okay you don't have to you don't want to " Ashton said hugging me as well as Michael and Calum.

" Hey Michael where Caitlin I thought you guys were still dating " I asked pulling away from our hug

" oh a month ago I found out she was Cheating on me with like four different dudes so I dumped her " He said like it was nothing, damn.

" Oh my god really " I asked

" Yep" he said the John run up towards us

" Guys where about to let people in " John said

" Okay, Bye Emma " Calum said

"Bye Emma " Ashton and Michael, we hugged one last time then they left

" I'm going back to the hotel " I said looking at John

" Um no you can stay here " He said

" Bye John " I said walking out of the back exit and calling a uber.

Once I got back to the hotel and changes clothes and crawled into bed.
