Chapter 10

Luke's POV

I got a call from Connor, I picked up the phone.

" hey Connor What's up " I asked

"It's Emma she's in the hospital " he said

"What why?!" I asked frantically

" she passed in school yesterday " he said

"What hospital is she at " I asked

"St.Patrick's Emergency center " he said

"I'll be there on twenty minutes" I said as I hung up the phone, I grabbed my keys I ran out the door.

Connor's POV

I sat next to Emma's bed, she's asleep

"Connor honey do you want something to eat " Annie asked

"Sure But you and Echo can go I'll stay with her " I said

"No I'm good " Echo said

"Echo you haven't left since we got here " I said

"But-" I cut her off

"She'll be fine" I said

"Okay" She said

They got up and walked out, I heard a knock on the door, I got up to open it I was greeted by Luke.

"Does she know I'm here " He asked

"No, She's asleep " I said as I watched him walk in

Luke's POV

I walked into Emma's room, I seen her sleeping, she had her right arm wrapped up around her wrist, she looked so beautiful.

"I'll give you some time alone " Connor said

"Thanks " I said.

The door shut I looked back at Emma, I feel so bad, I grabbed her hand.

Emma's POV

I felt someone grab my hand before I could say anything I heard a all to familiar voice.

"Emma I miss you so much, I feel like shit for leaving you I should have never left. You will always mean everything to me You will always be the girl of my dreams, You will always be my beautiful baby I Love You and I always will I'm sorry " Luke said, he sounds he was crying.

He stood up, he kissed my forehead, I heard him walk towards the door I opened my eyes I watched him walk out the door. I grabbed my phone At 5:30 pm Sunday afternoon I saw Luke walk out my life...again.

A tear rolled down my face, did he really just say that, I wiped my tears away when I saw Connor walk through the door with Echo and My mom.

"Emmi " Echo Said excitedly, her nickname for me is Emmi only sometimes though.

"Echo" I said laughing at her excitement

"Guess what" she said

"What?" I asked

"We got McDonald's" she paused "and you got a milkshake " she finished

"Yes!!" I said as she handed it to me

" also Honey your gonna get to home tomorrow " My mom said as she handed us out food.

*the next day*

The nurse took out my I.V, I was weighed I gained two pounds back. I changed into a baggy AC/DC shirt along with some sweatpants, I had all my stuff read to go, after being in for four days I'm ready leave.

I got my medicine, I have Zoloft for depression and Xanxa for anxiety. We all got in car, I sat in passengers seat I put my headphones in and played
So Far Away by Mary Lambert, this song reminds me of Luke why did he come and visit me.

Once we got home after dropping off Echo and Connor, I walked upstairs into my room. I started cleaning up a little bit, I walked into my closet I sat some shoes down, God this closet is nasty, I started organizing it, My foot slammed up on a box, Ow, I bent down  I opened this box inside was every single picture of me and Luke that is Printed out, all the Polaroids everything, I took these down a few months ago, I looked at all of them which made all the memories came flooding back which made tear stream down my face, I curled up in a corner holding some pictures of me and Luke.

Why did we fall in love just for him to leave me.
