Chapter 49

               Jessica's POV
(Jess is 5 months pregnant now)

I just hopped out of the shower, now I'm getting dressed to go see my OBGYN doctor. I put a baby pink shirt along with maternity skinny blue jeans. It's only me, Greg and dad. I'm very excited cause I get to found out what the gender is of my baby, or if we do a gender reveal Dad will know the gender, me and Greg will found out when everyone else will.

" Jess, Greg y'all ready" Dad asked

" Yeah were ready " Greg said.

We got in my car, to head to the doctor's office.

We got into the room, Dr.Grace came into the room with us, she's just as excited as I am about seeing my little baby.

" alright I need to know if your planning on doing a gender reveal " Dr.Grace asked

And before I could say anything " Yes were doing one" Dad said

" Okay " she said laughing

She took about four pictures before looking at what parts this thing has, When she looked to see what the gender is, I had to look away, but Dad knows what it is.

She got a kinda confused and concern look on her face.

" Is everything okay? " I asked grabbing Greg's hand

" Yeah I'm just gonna get some pictures of your uterus make sure everything is okay " Dr.Grace said

" Oh okay.." I said worried. I hope everything is okay.

Dr.Grace took some pictures of my uterus, she printed them out.

" Jessica, a normal sized uterus is about 80mm, Yours is about 15% smaller " She said showing me a picture of a normal uterus and then mine, and there's a difference

" What does that mean " Greg asked

" well, Jessica got pregnant some time in march, she would have had this baby in October but with her uterus being small the baby would a month early and Jessica is gonna need to be on bed rest " She said

" If the baby is a month early, will it still live " I asked trying not to cry

" I'm being completely honest honey, it all depends on when you have the baby. We'll keep a very close watch on you and the baby, cause not only could something happen with your baby something can happen to you " She said grabbing my hand trying to calm me down

" Okay, how long am I on bed rest " I asked.

" until I say otherwise, I don't want you doing anything stressful that could your heart rate up or the baby's heart rate, and if something doesn't feel right and your in alot of pain don't wait and go to a ER. Okay?" She asked

" Okay " I said wiping some tears that had fell down.

We left the doctor's office with updated pictures of my sweet baby. I don't have the ones where it's says " Boy " or "girl", Dad has those. I'm worried about when my baby's born.

" Jess don't worry some much okay, everything is gonna be fine " Greg said rubbing my stomach and pulling into a taco bell.

I want food.

I got home after eating, I laid in bed after changing into some sweatpants. I curled up to my big huge pregnancy pillow.

" The baby is gonna be okay, right? " I asked Greg who laid beside me.

" I'm sure it's gonna be just fine " He said

I hope so...
